big stuff coming up the next few months! i'm very excited to be getting together with local artists and designers on some really neat projects.
this month i will be working with daniel mcleod modeling tshirt designs for ghouls&goblins ( http://www.ghoulsngoblins.com/ ) with the owner's little lady. i met them while i was working at daniel's booth at the calgary comic expo. they're a family horror-tee online store full of cute designs suitable for all ages. lots of them are drawn by the owner's adorable little daughter. expect to see some stuff posted in a couple months.
at the very end of the month i will be walking in deetz by visha loo's "famous" fashion show showing off her wonderful latex designs. i believe they are still selling tickets so if you're in calgary check out blame betty for tickets.

5 Years!I recently made the milestone of being on Deviant Art for 5 Years! Wow, I've been a member here since way back in year 10 of high school, I did have another page before this one but I barely had anything worth keeping at the time so I just made a new accoun and it's been 5 long and eventful years.More Like This
So much has happened since I first made this new account back in 2008 (I know seems like such a long time ago huh?). My life has changed in so many ways and looking back on some of the things I uploaded and wrote here in my journal seem so stupid now, but at the time they were real and true.
I've made friends, lost some and gained new ones. Been through relationships, both the best and worst times of my life, found new skills, talents, wishes, dreams, goals and desires. Been enlightened by some of the toughest experiences and learned from my mistakes, inspired by friends and family and determined to make them proud.
My writing has come such a long way from the simple, cliche love poems
2014 Yaya Han Calendar - it's here!I thought now would be a good time to make the calendar available to the public since they were shipped out to me yesterday! After the successful trial run of last year's calendar, I wanted to make an even better cosplay calendar for 2014!More Like This
To summarize: The 2014 Limited Edition Yaya Han Calendar features 12 months of new cosplay images printed on glossy 11x17 paper, which flips open to a 11x24 calendar. Out of the 12 monthly images, only 2 have been released before, all others are brand new and shot exclusively for the calendar. None of the images will be available as a print or poster, you will only be able to see them in the calendar.
FREE shipping within USA and Canada, $10 shipping everywhere else! It is again $24.99, just like last year, and will be signed and personalized by me! I'll post some teaser pics soon but you get a great idea of the calendar's look from the cover and back cover alre

It's technically the same as Dropbox, but offers much more space at an initial 15gb of cloud space FREE.
So click this https://copy.com?r=veqtNG and it'll take you through my referral to the page.
Why through my referral?
Because when you sign up you get 15GB cloud space free.
But through a referrer's link, once you verify your email and then download & install either the Copy app or program, like dropbox, we both get additional 5GB on top of that.
Now, that's fun and most important more space for free!
Then after that you can introduce it to all your friends for similar results and you can rack up tons of 5GB per referral.
In case you missed the link, click this https://copy.com?r=veqtNG

Just to push up and let more people know about this!
By the way, I have quite a number of users who registered BUT have not install the app/program on their phone or computer, that means it's not a full process, and you won't get t

A mid-year update..Hello everyoneMore Like ThisIt's a Friday night and I'm feeling alright so I thought I'd write out an update just as we approach the middle of the year~
Time is flying and some pretty big milestones in my life are coming up. I'm turning 18 in September and my Year 12 exams are in November. University plans have been going back and forth in my head but for now I'm trying to take it all one day at a time. it's only gonna get tougher from here but I'm confident I can smash through it.
Cosplay time: I've been laying low since Supanova due to studies but I had some time last weekend to attend a gaming tournament in Melbourne with :iconbbchibi: which was pretty fun and may have opened up a few awesome opportunities for us in the future (Can't say anything for now)
I've been organizing my next couple of costumes: I really want to pump out Kilik (Soul Eater), Tiger Jackson (Tekken) and Zimos (Saints Row 3) as quickly as possible. I haven't decided if I want to shoot the latter two or just keep them con-

The 10 Questions I got:
1. What is your favorite book out of anything you read in the past year?
Answer: That must really be the First "The Hunger Games" book, I was really into it just by the first chapter.. I'm planning to read the others when I have time for it! :3
2. What TV, book, manga, or drama couple is your favorite right now?
Answer: Since I'm watching Yu-Gi-Oh currently with my Boyfriend I must say that Puppyshipping (SetoxJono/Joey) is my favorite couple right now! But there is also Cherik (CharlesxErik) from X-Men that I will probably never stop liking and obsessing about!
3. Do you have a favorite Kpop or Jpop band? Artist?
Answer: Unfortunatly I don't listen to K-pop.. J-pop or any pop with a letter before it.. I have never found it intresting to listen to music which I don't understand

HP Sherlock Crossover Year 2.21John found Moriarty a few minutes later standing in the exact same spot. His back was facing John, but John was willing to bet 12 galleons that the stupid grin was still on Moriarty's face.More Like This
'So what the hell are you doing?' John wanted to shout it, but he for some reason was always way calm under stress.
A spell from below them lit up Moriarty's face as he turned around. 'Johnny-boy, what do you think I'm doing? Watching the world burn, and watching our dear friend Sherlock dance.'
'He's not your friend,' John snapped angrily.
'Am I a worse friend then you?' Moriarty smirked at John's look. 'Has he told you about me? We've talked a few ti

"Why'd you do it?"
"She was trying to steal my husband away from me! I couldn't let her get away with it."
"So you killed her."
John and Sherlock watched as the police put her into the car as others swarmed in.
The cab ride was silent. John had a feeling Sherlock was going to ask him about this morning, so he didn't say a word. He hoped if he didn't say anything, he wouldn't bring it up.
Insert. Turn. CLICK! (keys)
"Sherlock?!" Once they got in, Sherlock pushed him against the wall.
"What happened John?" He said quietly.
"What?"
"You know exactly what I'm talking about!" He roared as his voice cracked. This had been bothering him all day and he was thinking the worst possible things...just talking about it, made him on the verge of tears and his eyes became glassy.
"I-I..." John had a mixture of shock and horror in his expression. "I...I tried to..." He bit his lip and looked away. “I tried to kill myself." Twice actually. If it wasn't fo

Hide and TagJohn is jogging down a dirt trail next to a small, gurgling creek, the sound of the running water slightly masking the sound of his feet hitting the ground and his ragged panting. Old trees stretch high above him into the sky, their branches like arms shading him from most of the afternoon sunlight. Sweat is beading on his nose and trickling uncomfortably down his back and chest. HIs calves and shins are burning, his ankles ache, and his hands feel swollen. The air smells warm; like dry plantlife, sunlight and dust. He slows his steps without stopping, and takes a few gulps of water from the metal canteen attached to his small backpack.
