Moments leading to clarity:
Event: A meeting of the turian hierarchy in 2195. There were about 12 of us present and the discussion was whether of not we violate the treaty of Farixen and secretly build more dreadnoughts than our quota allowed. One of the hierarchs suggested that we had to increase our battleship numbers in case the krogan, and their close allies the humans, decided to 'get out of hand'.
The defense minister, Jatrian, chuckles up and says "About the krogan, I don't know. But to subjugate the humans, all we need to do is seduce their women. Vakarian and Victus could give us all pointers I'm sure. Between the two of them, they have conquered half the females in the Alliance military. Well… all the important ones anyway." Everyone laughed, except the Primarch.
