Looks familiar? That's because it's totally like my new ID for this year: ID_2015 by DanielHeydecke

Truth to be told: I like this one better, but not as an ID, so I chose the other one for that. Looks more "professional", hurrhurr.

Anyway, this photo Shows how I feel when I take a good photo or enjoy a beautiful sunset and/or sunrise. So many people give you weird looks when you wander through the wilderness, but when you discover such a magical place and you have it all to yourself: That's just awesome. And then there are those special moments, like when the water is perfectly still or the clouds are especially beautiful. All the sweat, the blisters on your feet and the legions of mosquitos don't matter anymore. This moment is just for yourself and no one is bothering you.

We'll wander off through the dead of night
Past wastelands of shattered souls
Warm by my firelight
I peer into the darkness alone

This photo was taken in South Australia during the last blood moon. When it was in full eclipse the Milky Way suddenly became visible, at least until the clouds rolled in. A few minutes later the moon was shining bright again and I got THIS SHOT, 180 degrees behind the photo above.

I went to check out a field fire I saw from the highway this afternoon from the highway and it turned out to be just a controlled burn (yay) but this barn was across the road from it and I had to take a picture of it :3

A quick little drawing of a fox. I'd like to use this same pose in a later drawing with color. But, this is the quick draw/sketch. It is a cross fox.

~o~ Somewhere far away ~o~

It started snowing yesterday. Winter seems to have has finally reached Germany. I honestly can't think of a better time to paint warm, sunny things... :P

Apart from that, this is one of those I-have-no-idea-where-it-came-from pictures. Whenever I start painting random things, I always end up paiting trees.

Enjoy... :)

Thank you for taking the time to visit my gallery. Faves and comments are always appreciated! Also, I invite you to download this image to use as desktop wallpaper. Please respect my work by not printing, selling, or reposting it.

Oregon's Historic Columbia River Highway is beautiful anytime, but autumn is particularly gorgeous. This shot was taken east of Latourell Falls.

NOTE: When displayed at its default size, the photo may appear a bit "soft". FULL VIEW is highly recommended for better appreciation of detail.

I did my best. This was a challenge for me...I had a hard time trying to think of a design for the beast, the beast being the female of course. Haha the more and more I started drawing her the more it started looking like the faun from Pan's Labyrinth. OTL I do have another pic of her with sort of a different design on my tumblr. The color scheme isn't all that different tho. The composition of this scene was based off of the part where Belle first meets the Beast and wishes to see his face. But, here the situation is where the beast almost kills the young man only to see that he isn't really afraid of her. She eventually offers him a rose. It was the first time in a long time a person has gotten so close to her. This is their moment.

I worked for quite a while on this piece, one of those things that don't come easy.
Even it being a still image, I feel that everything is moving and rotating.

Acrylic on 24x36" / 60x90cm stretched canvas.
