The soft blue sky was just beginning to darken, the evening slowly setting the sky awash in the brilliant orange and pink tide of the setting sun. White fluffy clouds dissipated in the evening air, what little was left of them taking on the fiery hues around them; the same light washed over the city below, marble and alabaster walls taking on matching color. Though beautiful and wondrous as it was, it was not an uncommon sight to be seen by the people of Azarath. Every sunset was different but no less astounding than the last, and every sunrise just as beautiful. Peace settled over the city, much like it always did as all returned to their homes.
This night however, a sudden change did not go unnoticed. Red began to bleed through the sky, not a change in the clouds, but from the sun itself. As the color spread, more and more people stopped where they stood, entranced by the strange phenomenon. The wave of red drew ever closer
YJ: Origins- Raven Part 2 Arella took the last step out onto the street. The wraiths lined the street in all directions; more hovered on the rooftops and balconies of the buildings that remained standing, either as yet unburned or having survived the many tremors that rocked the city. They made no move toward her, just hovered and stared. Quiet had settled over the city, the screams that had filled the air now silenced and replaced only with the crackling of the fires on the outskirts. The entire sky was now a deep blood red only broken by thick clouds of pitch colored smoke. The voice continued coming from somewhere high above.More Like This
“Hello my love.” The deep voice was louder now as if it had grown closer. Arella made no reply, but straightened her shoulders and stood up taller. “Do you not wish to speak to your lover either? Very well then. You may not wish to speak to me, but I shall speak

The Star View Apartments was a lively place day-to-day, but on this night in particular, there was no better place to be. According to Cissie King-Jones that is. Thanks to her father's job, she'd spent a number of holidays in many exciting- and not so exciting- places; this year however, the action was in their own home. The apartment door was propped open invitingly, welcoming expected and unexpected guests alike. Fun upbeat music poured out into the hall, resounding off of every wall, enveloping the party goers in its festive sound. Cissie was loving every bit of it, hosting her first real party... without the adult supervision of her trusting father. While making her way through the crowd, with a grin plastered on her face and an infectious laugh bubbling out every so often, she caught sight of a cluster of her friends that had just arrived. Each of them were sporting apparel in varying bright colors, some of

The Dark Knight himself in her very living room.
"I think you know who I am, Cissie" the caped crusader introduced himself.
It took her a moment to grasp words, her train of thought derailed by the fact that Batman himself had addressed her by name. In a tone that bodded trouble, especially with her father present and looking somberly upon her.
"Wow! Ahhh, this is unreal... I mean, DAD! Did you see who it is? It's.... it's Batman. Wh-hat a suprise!" she feined ignorance and slight enthusiasm, trying to act suprised at what could possibly bring Batman dropping by for a chat.
"You're not fooling anyone, Cissie" Batman sharply added while crossing his arms.
"Fooling?! Hehehe.... what ever do you mean Batman? SIR." she was twiddling her thumbs nervously. "I assumed, ahh DAD.. Isn't he here about that article you've been writing, D-dad? About the....the ahh-ahh PARTICLE accelerator in Central City..."

Even on New Years, the lead scientests of the cybernetics didn't catch a break. Toiling away in front of computer screens, after some hours the data had numingly flown bye to the point it was becoming a blur. Doctors Silas Stone and Serling Roquette had the chore of overseeing the results for upgrades on the latest batch of XTR battle suits. The holidays weren't an adequate excuse when military forces around the world are demanding the immediate shipment of over 2000 new suits. XTRs now guarded most military facilities and political structures across the globe.
Roquette and Stone had laboriously working on modifcations in the main S.T.A.R. Labs facility on the west coast. These new upgrades were a last minute order from the top (Luthor), to be implemented in the latest batch of XTRs. Amidst a computer lab strewn with empty water bottles and pizza boxes with straggling pieces, the two doctors crunched away.

Victor woke up with gasp. He jolted up in bed, looking around to see he was in a darkened hospital room. The heart monitor beside him began to fade back to normal, after it appeared to be loud and racing. He touched his face.... and felt cold steel. The left side was clad in armor now, and a bright red eye. Touching it brought him back to the unfortunate reality. This wasn't a dream.

He turned his head, now that he was awake, to see doctors in the observation room behind the glass. Some old some old as it's been for the last couple weeks. He could hear distant voices though, he could hear them through the glass if he focused somehow. They were altered and syntheized like a computer, but Victor couldn't understand how he did it, like automatic translat

It was near nightfall, but by the oncoming and cloudy snow storm it seemed darker than the usual night. Across the icy rooftops of the crime-ridden city (a corruption and decay that makes Gotham look like Metropolis in comparison), Nightwing was hurrying along them. His acrobatic skills came in handy, as he traversed with great agility across watertowers, ventilation and other assorted instruments lined in his path. He hurdled off the roof of one highrise, landing on the side of a skyscraper and sliding down off, as if he were surfing the steel and glass building. By the sheer thrust of gravity he flew off the building, as he then tumbled through the air, only to whip out his grappler. He then swung through the air after the line caught a gargoyle. He soared past buildings and the populas below his feet, landing atop another gargoyle then climbing in leaps and bounds to the roof once again.

"Alright, listen up. I don't have a lot of time and neither do any of you. Because in about..." Wally then quickly blurted out to the deadpan assembly of superheroes, while looking at his wrist device "... in about 19 minutes, the Earth's going to be invaded by aliens. And trust me, it doesn't go well for anyone."
His grim statement was barely given a moment to process for the group, when Wally continued on.
"You got questions, but I don't have time for them. Real sorry. Too much to do, but let's quickly get over the obvious."
He was racing around the group of heroes to face each and every one of them as he continued to explain at his incredible new speeds.

A massive alien armada orbited the fiery hellhole of a planet, alongside it's newest natural satellite.... the "Warworld". The weaponized artificial moon was readied to unleash it's full might upon the now defenseless Earth. Coming in at the rear, it followed behind of the Apokolyptian fleet as it was now moving into position towards the now completed Boom Tube gate. The construct would allow the countless number of ships to instantaneous warp together, to any point in the charted universe.
Earth wouldn't even be aware of this fleet's arrival until they locked weapons and started to reign hellfire upon their cities.
Aboard the fleet's flagship, an almost dagger-like vessel, Parademons were operating at their stations on the command deck. Several humanoids were monitoring systems and communicating in conjunction with the massive fleet. Above them was the helm, where all of Darkseid's generals were awaiting his orders. Kanto, D
Young Justice: Revolution Ep20 - Showdown Part 4Aboard the War World, Savage and Klarion were keeping the parademons and Furies at bay. The vessel was falling apart at the seems, as ruptures and damaged areas from Apokolyptian fire disrupted weapons. Tekal mawled away at Lash and Stompa, only to be sideswiped by Granny's squadron of hell hounds. The massive beasts bit and clawed at Tekal, which enraged Klarion enough to unleash chaotic blasts against the boarding party. Savage effortlessly smashed and pounded into bloody submission Parademon after Parademon. He then chaged a hell hound like a predator charging its prey. He toppled it over and pounded it away until his fists were raw and bloodied. He then stodo up and reproached his throne. Klarions cleaned up the mess.
Savage connected back with the link, now reading the Green Lantern and Martian forces that had arrived. The vessels from Mars were kicking Apokolips' ass, while they started offloading telekinetic

"Chase, Ya sure ya don't wanna hang?" the annoying red haired boy, Jack, asked for the millionth time. "We could plan word conquest, or mess with the Xiaolin dorks! I heard they've got a new dweeb."
The black haired man, known as Chase Young, turned his yellow eyes to the annoying Jack, interested by the last remark. "A new apprentice, you say?" he said. "Yeah, another girl," he replied immediately "she's got this lame element too: wood. I mean, what's she gonna do? Call some trees to attack me?!" Jack finished with a laugh at his own joke. He instantly stopped when he saw that Chase was gone, and noticed the tigers coming for him.
He teleported to the Xiaolin temple, standing on the close-by mountains, watching with his animal eyes. (or... something along that line) The monks were training a girl with (h/l) (h/c) hair and (s/c) skin. Her uniform much like Kimiko's but more fit for her body type.
He had to admit she was very pretty.
