Leaves burn to cinders
To sate an addiction
Ashes to be flicked off a cylinder,
Then to fall to the ground and be blown away
By a whimsical wind.
Who would weep for the tobacco leaves?
They who are birthed in a flourish of green to flower and seed,
Torn off, desiccated, and packed in the pulp of trees,
Then consumed in the flames of avarice
Let them take the airs away.
Do not forget,
They are of the Nightshade!
The collies have grown complacent
Their shepherd has gone to fat
His crook lost ages ago...
They play with the sheep,
But lead them nowhere.
They bark and snarl and nip at the heels,
And never allow old wounds to heal
The sheep are left emaciated and weak,
As the wolves gather upwind
Crouching low on yonder hill.
They will bite the throat of the man that feeds
And leave tamed beasts to the wild.
Teenaged Johnny has his father's gun,
Through vicarious lenses electronic he sees the world,
With no idea what is outside his hometown,
He will end his life befor

Concert PhotographyCapturing live concerts in photography is very interesting; yet, its not easy. In making some great concerts photography you need to capture the key moment and combine it with the best composition and dramatic lighting, to do those action you need some luck, but since you cant depend on that, it means you need some experience. Experience becomes very important because the fast movements on the stage makes you have not enough time to work on your composition. Its even makes you easier to know when the key moments is going to happen, and also help you to find a suitable angle for making the lighting even more dramatic.More Like This
Here are some tips that might help you:
Use some high ISO speed. Because you need a high shutter speed to catch the fast movements and flash are rarely allowed to use and you dont want to your photo to be under, so take my advice. But remember, higher ISO means higher noise and grain, be careful on that.
Open your aperture to the maxim
Educating OurselvesThis journal contains a lot of potentially buzz-work things that could result in arguments from people who don't take the time to read my message. For example I mention Anita Sarkeesian, but I don't want people to start arguing against her points of view because that's NOT what this journal is about. So please, read carefully before you respond to help avoid knee-jerk reactions since that's exactly what this journal is about trying to AVOID.More Like This
Over the years I’ve had a pretty straightforward view on gun control. Guns are dangerous and need to be restricted and made more inaccessible to prevent future acts of gun violence. I’ve never genuinely believed in the idea of banning all guns because I do think people DO need to have ways to protect themselves.
However, I’ve recently been thinking more about a different aspect to the gun control debate and it’s broader implications to other troublesome politically charged areas of our (United States) cult
La Citta' di PaneMore Like This
