Akiren felt as if he was becoming more and more of an insomniac as each night succeeded the other.

The coming morning, Akiren woke up slowly, at first trying but finding it hopeless to get a little more sleep. He stood up, stretched, made his bed, and got dressed just soon enough to see Reimu.
Fully armed with her gohei and other various weaponry, she turned to him with a face void of expression. “Oh, you are awake. I’m off to the village…” She huffed slightly. “Again.”
Akiren shoved his fists into his pockets, refraining from a response until Reimu was almost out of ear-shot outside. “Reimu, can I come with you?”

"Hey, Riku," he said. A second naga peeked over at him from nearby, in a similar lounging position. "I think I swallowed a fly." Riku blinked at him.

"I swallowed a fly," Sora repeated. He rubbed his stomach. Riku's eyes widened.
"You did what!?" he gasped. He slithered over to Sora and pressed an ear to his stomach. Sora was a little confused.
"What are you doing?"
"You swallowed a fly, Sora," Riku said, with complete seriousness. "This is serious." Now, Sora was worried. He rubbed his stomach, preoccupied.
