A few days later.
Jay tossed the newspaper back onto the table with finality. Kai looked up from his bowl of cereal and at the newspapers headline.
“It’s the same thing as it’s been for the past few days. Strange sightings and noises have been reported in the forest.” Jay said, holding up the newspaper for everyone to see the headline that read in large bold letters UNKNOWN CREATURES SEEN AND HEARD IN FOREST. Cole grunted and swallowed his mouthful of scrambled eggs.
“I’m sure it’s nothing. After all, it’s been peaceful for a few years now. The newspapers are probably just stretching something that’s nothing into something it’s not so their papers will sell.” He said, scooping some more eggs into his mouth. Sensei Wu sat down at the table next to Lloyd and Garmadon.

It is precisely eight o' clock in the morning.
He opens his eyes, which are bloodshot and seemingly pupil-less. The youth sits up and yawns, looking around. The walls are still yellow and soft. He still has these weird unbreakable bandages around his upper body.
Yet he still laughs every day, maybe ten too many times.
He sees a few faces at the glass on the side and his omniscient smile widens. He hasn't really seen anybody for a while.
The boy jumps up and dashes across the padded room towards the glass, crashing into it with a thud right in front of a girl with short hair. Her name is Nya.
Her sympathetic gaze rests on the white-clad, bruised, broken nindroid. She doesn't say anything. Her ebony bangs cover her eyes again, shielding them from the boy's sight.
He doesn't seem to feel the pain from the hit as he springs up and presses his face to the glass, almost as if trying to so desperately break out and maybe hug Nya.
