Myyka draped one skinny arm over his leg and squinted through the little grimy window. He was perched precariously on a stack of cardboard boxes, being too short to see out of the window himself. He was small for thirteen, many people mistook him for seven or eight, but that never bothered him.
“Oi!” Myyka flinched and the boxes toppled over, flinging the boy to the ground. He picked himself up, wincing and making a big show of rubbing his elbow when he’d hit the ground.
