Amish + Technology = The FutureMy criticism of Christianity can better be seen as a criticism of its Universalist concepts, that eventually evolved into Utopianism and then Egalitarianism, which I see as a force of censorship and celebration of Mediocrity. That is a development I cant forgive Christianity for, but it does not mean that everything about Christianity needs to lead to anti-world Utopianism.More Like This
Christianity can actually work very well for local communities of related people, like the Amish, which I see as an example of realist people that "dont annoy anyone" and "are not annoyed by everyone". That is EXACTLY the Kind of Community that I see as positive.
Of course, if I were to create an "Amish Community", it would be Pagan City-State and would be accepting of technology and science, but beyond that I think it would work pretty much the same
Localism is the solution. People wanna solve problems that happen 10 000 miles away, problems
