I read lots of books. I read them because I have no friends in my real life and when one reads a book, they get to know someone. Someone that could maybe eat the same kind of cereal as you in the morning, or listen to the same song at 2 a.m, or someone that you just connect with on a spiritual level. For someone who can not stand socializing with other people, this is perfect; getting to know someone and falling in love with them without having to talk to them.
As you get further into this book, you begin falling deeper in love with this person who you are mentally holding hands with as they deal with their struggles. Yet, as the conflict rides on in the story, you realize that the more pages you flip and the more you learn about this person, the less pages you have in front of you. Your time spent with your darling is dwindling.
