I gazed out the window. Lately, I'll stare out into the darkness for no reason. It's as if I'm searching for something. Trying to figure out what I'm looking for. And questioning as in why I bother searching. Then again...I question why I'm living or why I continue to live. Trying to discover the motive, the inspiration, the motivation.
I tear my gaze from the window hesitately. I spin my chair around and sit on it. I look up at the cieling still puzzled...still perplexed. The man in the mirror across from me bears the same expression. This man has long snow white hair and bloodly red eyes. This man looks both angelic and demonic. This man is me. I feel an uncomfortable shift in my body.

"Look out!" Ethan shouted but by the time the little girl in the street heard him it was too late for her to run, the car was already coming. Ethan had two options 1) Stand by like an idiot and wacth a little girl die or 2) Save her life. So he ran to her and in an instant he jumped off the side walk and pushed her out of the way sending stumbling across the road and out of the way of the oncoming car, however, Ethan wasn't so lucky. Before he could jump out of the way the car plowed over him. He saw a white light like everyone says you'll see when you die but it quickly disappeared and everything went black.

"His soul was pure, so why didn't he move on?" Ethan heard someone ask just above him, he couldn't see anything though only blackness.
