Pulled off the highway on the way back from Banff to shoot the sunset. I say it was worth it, and definitely quite different from the scenery I usually get to see.

appropriated much . . . ?
it does . this is the fluffy year . *
rabbit *
wth ?!?! someone know this stuff . . .anyway .
i guess i can say it's me .
it's me . really .
you know why japanese/me see the new year starting in April, ending in april as well . Depends . but for me , ( my eyes ) ,this all start with the sakura season . a cycle is completed and so , a new life begins/end .
nothing more plausible than that .
of course in my work the year start in may . lots of them follow the same calendar .
School have other systems . . .
i am not going to let this shot goes without a quote .
you may thought so . .. wrong .

" I've let you play me for some time
One can only receive and retain
But the lies you recite for your gain

You rely on my faith in your kind
Or rather continue to pretend that I'm blind
You say I made your life a living hell
And yet still let me pay you when I fell. "

With a high-level start point, a direct path and fine views, Ben Donich makes an excellent objective for a shorter hillwalk. There is a little rocky ground with a slight scramble down before the summit to add a little character. - via [link]

Talia Caves
South Australia

Marianne and I are currently on a road trip around Eyre Peninsula for 10 days. I thought I'd try to keep up the weekly upload even though this is a laptop edit. The Talia caves region is home to some fantasticcally textured rock as well as dramatic surges of waves along channels in the rock. I tried to do incorporate the sun into the image though the seaspray dotting the filters made it a very tough task. I hope you enjoy the result and I look forward to presenting more from this trip after we get back!

Today, I went for a walk at this trail by my house with my friend, and I think walking and taking photos in the fog is one of my most favorite things. Everything looks so magical ^___^

Honnest song to listen to here

So these flowers aren't the same as the ones i photographed recently (see Freely). The other ones were plums' flowers (mirabelles in french) from the tree growing in my garden.
I'm not sure what these are, but i think they're from an almond tree...they have a more reddish look and thinner branches. They pop aside every road in this season. Apricot and cherry trees usually blossom much later during spring.
Thank you for every comment and fave, i really appreciate your support ! :iconflowerdanceplz:

"My life, my soul for the Phoenix." - Shiba Tsukimi

Phoenix clan champion. She is a powerful strong woman, mature and yet still beautiful. She has powerful presence, matched by her skill at combat. She dreams of a world of peace, where the trivial bloodshed of the samurai is ended, yet until that day comes, she will lead the Phoenix to enforce peace where it does not exist.

A wonderful sunset that happened a week ago. I feared the sun would not appear, but things finally cleared up and some light briefly pierced the edge of the clouds and lit up the amazing shapes in front of me.

Canon EOS 6D | EF 17-40 f/4L ~22mm | 0.5s, 1/13s | f/16 | ISO 100

Been in a bit of a slump lately when it comes to getting out and taking pictures. Due to the fact of photography being mainly a hobby, real life (work mostly) has come first and has just made me so tired when I do actually find time. In fact this was my first outing since June (way way way too long). Made a trip down to Shenandoah National Park with a friend to get in a little bit of hiking and hopefully get some good images.

I chose the Little Stony Man hike for a couple reasons even though there are plenty other locations in the park I have yet to shoot. I like this location because the hike is not too long or difficult and the views are spectacular. You reach the cliffs and just have a wonderful view down into the Shenandoah Valley.

As has been my luck this year, I was again met with rather boring weather. Not a single cloud in the sky. What I did find myself with was a lot of haze throughout the valley and beyond. Not wanting to waste the opportunity I turned to shoot the light as it was instead of waiting and hoping for the sky to do something great (it almost did).

As the sun was nearing the horizon the valley took on a wonderful warm glow from the sun as the hills below began to cast their shadow. I turned the camera down and shot through a great crack in the cliffs to capture the glow in the valley as well as the orange light on the rocks.

To me, this is a bit of a bittersweet shot. It really does feel to be a scene of a summer ending. And in my case a summer ending that never quite began (speaking of photography). As always, bring your own interpretation to complement my own, and of course, enjoy!

Svartifoss Waterfall, Skaftafell National Park, Iceland

Often referred to as the Black Waterfall, this waterfall was by far the most interesting I've been to. Exposed basalt pillars create an ampitheater-like ambience.  Please enjoy! :)

Lake Bonney
South Australia

Along the west bank of Lake Bonney near Pelican point, there is a group of unusual stumps which appear as though they float atop the water's surface. In the predawn gloom, they had an almost ethereal appearance which I tried to capture by allowing light under the stump in the composition. The ensuing sunrise unfortunately fizzled as more cloud built up.
