Building my own business...Hey guys!More Like This
Well I'm up to the neck in commissions but I've been thinking of what to do once I'm done with all of them. I'm working my way through them little by little in between homework and taking care of my house. I want to have my own business as a Graphic Designer and Book Illustrator, which is kind of exciting. I've always wanted to try and do things on my own rather than struggling to find a job, which most artists have to compete to get the dream job.
I was wondering if any of you know about that, since I know a couple graphic designers watch me. I'm really interested in finding out more about it and hearing your suggestions if you have any.
For those of you who are waiting on calendars and commissions as well as prices for my last contest, I assure you I'm getting there. The calendars will be printed and sent in the beginning of November to give time to those who want to get one. I added a new option too, for those who can't afford the book style calendar. Another InspiredMortals have trouble understanding the concept of love:More Like This
What does it mean?
What is it?
Will it ever happen to me?

Zeus, constantly running around with mortal girls, having affair after affair.
Hera, wracked with jealousy, her wrath turning a once proud and beautiful goddess into a vengeful shrew who took her anger on her husband's hapless bastard children.
Apollo, with his dryad, who spurne

The Gift of the Quoxxel
I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
"The Gift of the Quoxxel" is a very light-hearted and silly tale. There are two POVs: some chapters follow King Norr, and others follow Captain Gadd, the pirate.
Before I get into the story, I'd like to comment on the formatting. I usually don't mention it, but this book is put together exceptionally well. Each chapter has a fancy header, many have a vibrant illustration at the end, there are links within the story that lead to a glossary explaining unusual words, and there are even music sheets with lyrics linked. It's obvious the author has put a lot of time and care into this and it looks wonderful.
If I were to suggest additions as a reader, I would say to add links back in the footnotes
