The guild jumped into action the moment that Arthur reluctantly got out of bed. Fredericka and the Highlander hurried to the pub to snag any new early-morning quests, Simon headed to Shilleka’s to buy more medicine and sell some herbs, and Arthur helped Raquna refine the maps that she had been keeping diligently.
“Aww, Simon filled in some blanks for me. I swear, does he even sleep?” Raquna laughed, dipping her pen into ink, “He’s such a hard worker.”
“Yeah…” Arthur watched her absentmindedly as she adjusted one of the wobbly lines, “Say, Raquna? We should charge at those monsters today and try to retrieve some of their special materials. Our leader would like that.”
“Ah, the Highlander? Definitely!” Raquna grinned.
The boy frowned and opened his mouth to reply, but the rest of the Guild suddenly came in, chatting happily with each other. It was time to go.

“Simon, why’re you still awake?”
The medic snorted himself awake, looking about in a panic before he noticed the blond boy beside him. His rough awakening both amused, but more so shamed Arthur - he had intended to send Simon off to bed. The medic had seemed awfully tired lately, blankly looking into the distance as they were investigating the labyrinth or forgetting to warn the rest of the party when a secret passage went by.
“Ah… Arthur,” Simon smiled mildly, “I’m sorry. I shouldn’t be dozing off in the middle of my work - that hardly does anything for any of us.”
“It’s late,” Arthur remarked, slumping down in the seat beside him, “you should get some sleep. I’m just here to grab another blanket from the innkeeper.”
