Rain was pouring.
Winds were roaring.
Tremors were rumbling underneath the feet of running pedestrians.
The world was falling apart.
You were running around, trying to find your friends. The only two people that you could count on a situation; the Striders. You knew that their house was close... at least you thought it was. You couldn’t really tell, what with rubble flying everywhere. You wanted to find them. You needed to find them.
Suddenly, someone grabbed your wrist and pulled you into a hug. You struggled to lift your head, but you were able to see that it was Dirk Strider who had found you. You quickly hugged him back as rain poured over the two of you.
“It’s the end of the world, not a hug fest,” You heard someone say, immediately recognizing the voice as Dave’s. You pulled away from Dirk and gave Dave a hug as well. You were so grateful that they had found you in all of the commotion.
“What do we do?” You asked.

Dave leaned his head on the wall, obviously feeling sick from all of the ‘magical apple juice.’ “Gamzee, it’s you’re turn in the closet.”
You glanced at the crowd of people, already seeing Gamzee’s tall horns peak over the rest of the crowd. He pushed to the front of the trolls. He saw you and gave you his regular goofy smile. You couldn’t help but giggle.
Instead of pushing the two of you, Dave shooed you into the closet and shut the door. You each looked around until you met each other’s eyes. The two of you shared eye contact for almost a minute. It didn’t make you laugh, however. It made you nervous. You liked Gamzee a lot, but he always made you nervous. You knew what he was capable of, and sometimes, it scared you.
A cold touch on your leg surprised you out of your thoughts. You quickly l

“They’re terrible things, aren’t they?” (Name) murmured matter-of-factly, laying out on her patch of grass and warmth, staring up at the grays and blues that intertwined in the skies above. Her companion next to her shifted, somewhat uncomfortably as she could tell out of the corner of her eye.
“Well I guess it depends on what kinds of secrets you’re keeping.” He pointed out, his arms stretched lazily over his head, his body nestled in swathes of ice and snow surrounding his person, his gaze also focused on the atmosphere floating over the pair.
“What kinds of secrets aren’t they? If you have to keep something away from someone else, surely it’s a bad thing. Why would you keep something away from someone if you trusted them and they trusted you?” She reasoned, reaching up towards the sky with a half-hearted hand. A small flame burned in the center of her palm.
“Not all of them are bad, those secre

Your butt currently rests upon a couch. Today is a lazy day for sitting around, watching movies, and eating food. Of course, the couch is not yours. You are watching movies that you do not own on a television you do not have. The food is also not yours. You are on Strider ground using all of their stuff.
With all of the crazy Strider shenanigans that you get pulled into, you think it's only fair you get to use their stuff when they're away. You have a bruise on your hip the size of fucking Texas, and a twisted ankle propped on an armrest. You don't even want to recall how it happened. It's simpler to say that Dirk is no good at teaching how to flash step, Lil Cal is hard, and Dave has a stupid face.
Sadly, you are still being forced to see Dave's stupid face. Let me rephrase previous words a bit though. 'Most' of the Striders are away. The one that decided to stay behind in spite is making himself very noticeable to you.

Tavros X Reader: Sing Me to SleepPain erupted all throughout your chest, and upper body. Sticky red blood covered you, and it leaked through your shirt. Jack Noir was more powerful than you thought. You stared blankly at your trembling hand on the ground, the slight twitch of your fingers gave you comfort. Its rhythmic twitch, twitch, twitch reminded you of a clock. Then you remembered life was a clock - a clock that ended. Tick tock, tick tock. You could hear the battle cries around you, and feet rumbling past you in a heavy earthquake. Pain piercing in your head as well, as the loud tremor of feet exploded into your ears like a grenade. You wearily blinked your eyes at the blurred figures around you, until one knelt at your side.More Like This
“(Y/n)…” His soft voice was barely audible. You blinked your eyes slowly at the Taurus, your (e/c) eyes filled with tears. He knelt down beside you, and lifted your head into his lap. “(Y/n)… I’m sorry… I’m so sorry I couldn’t protect
