This is my Lion King Plush Collection in 2012. A few Lions are missing, but I will take a photo of the others too. I like the little one in the middle with the big head, he plays music, if the tail is pulled.
Starlite II is a commissionned horse. Full rehair and full repaint, with a long mane and tail as asked by new owner // Tagada II est une commande spéciale. Réimplantation totale, avec de longs crins comme demandé par la nouvelle propriétaire, et repeint en intégralité.
This is the most recent adult sized Lion King shirt available from the Disney Store in early 2012. The silk screened image has that worn faded look intentionally. I guess I won't have to worry about it looking worn out ever LOL. There is also a ladies shirt that was available at the same time as this that is pink featuring adult Simba and Nala.

back in 1994 when the lion king came out disney made a few toys that were very cool there were the lion king kissing cubs, the talking bank and this beauty the lion king talk n view pond, i have been looking for this beauty for over 17 years so far only to come out empty handed until now, i was able to get ahold of 1 of these toys for my collection and it is 1 of the most hardest to find/ rarest lion king toys out there, it was made by the same company that made the beauty and the beast talking enchanted mirror, so i am jest beside myself with joy to finaly have 1 in my collection at long last ^0^<3<3<3<3<3

Okay dudes, first of all... I'M ALIVE!! Busy period: looking for a job, anxious about university, about life, about friends... XD A lot of stuff going on in my little mind! But the great news is that I got this awesome glass cabinet for Xmas!! Look how gorgeous it is!!! X3 It took me a while to de-box all the figures I wanted to put inside but finally it's done! This is NOT my full collection... I guess it's around 1/3 of my stuff, unfortunately I couldn't place any more figures in the cabinet without making it look like a total mess ù.ù I also had the chance to replace the batteries in my camera and I just realized that my room is a great spot to take pictures O.o so I took a pic of most of the figures in the cabinet that weren't already posted in my gallery and I will upload them regularly in the next few days As you can see I tried to fill it with all my favourite/rarest figures, including some handmade figures (some are made by me, some come from ebay), the sculptures I commissioned to Strecno, some of my prototypes... Even some resin ornaments found their small place! If you wanna know details of some figures please ask in the comments, it's a bit too long to write a description of every single figure below here... ^^" Every question will be answered with the single pics of the days coming ù.ù Hope you like it, I love it so much! I literally spent hours staring at it! X3
Hello everybody! ^^ Here's a pic of ALL my Mattel figures, both static and action ones... I have all the static pvc figures, however I'm actually still missing some of the action figures =/ As you can see there are some really similar figures: -two Mufasas: one is the european version, while the other is the american one; they look very close but the tails, heads and leg shapes are different -two cub Simbas: they are from different releases, one is from tlk first movie's release (back in '94), while the other is from sp's release; eye colors are darker in the sp's one -two adult Simbas: same as for the cubs, they come from different years and the difference is in the colors, the sp's one has orange mane and lighter yellow body, while the first movie's one has brown mane -two Shenzee: this is one of my favs ù.ù I have one that comes from a normal tlk toy pack, while the other is from a special set 'Roaring Kings' wich included ALL the three hyenas (ED! *-* I'm so proud of him!), plus fighting Simba and Scar... The Shenzee in this second set is special because she has poseable legs with no button on her neck :3
What I'm currently looking for (but I haven't bought yet 'cause I'm too poor -.-): -Scar without claws (sp's version) EDIT: Got him! ^^ -Sp's Rafiki (wich seems to have a yellowish mane ò.ò) -Roaring King's Scar... Meh. I have Simba and the hyenas but I still cannot find Scar -.- -Another Simba: I know I already have two adult Simbas but there is a third version with less mane and a happier facial expression... I must have him, you know ù.ù EDIT: Got him! ^^ -Another Cub Nala, because I noticed that there are two versions of her with kinda different eyes
If you wanna know something about the static figures I uploaded a pic some weeks ago, you can find it in my gallery
Edit: I just noticed that there are some intruders in the pic! XD On the left you can see three hyenas plus Pumbaa&Timon that belong to an Hasbro set aaaaaand on the right there is a Sarabi&Mufasa figure that is made by Applause XD Sorry for the little mistake, I just didn't see them while uploading this
I have been wanting to draw characters from Totoro on a new pair of converse style shoes for a long time now, so you can imagine my excitement when I received these new ones I used pencil to sketch out the original drawing and then went over it with sharpie.(Edit: Now with paint instead)
EDIT: If you choose to do the same thing that I did (with sharpie) DO NOT USE FIXATIVE. The sharpie ended up running all over the place and I am now planning on re-doing it with acrylic paint.
EDIT: I decided to re-do the shoes with acrylic paints because of the sharpie running off. Also, I ended up using a UV and water resistant acrylic spray that seemed to do the trick.
EDIT: The paint is now starting to chip off despite the Krylon spray I used. Also, the spray left a bit of a yellowish color after a couple of days. Still looking for the proper process of making these. If anyone has any ideas please let me know!
EDIT: Alright, so I finally figured out that no matter what process you use, the paint will still chip off of the shoes because the rubber end bends which causes the paint to crack. I am now going to start practicing painting on the canvas part of shoes and see how that works out.
Gave her a librarian look with a school girl edge. Since she's into genius mechanics I was thinking about giving her more cyber-style gizmos for her uniform...then I just thought to keep it to the original costume.

I've made a lot of things over the last 50 years, but I have to admit, this ranks among the best of my favorites. Queen Chrysalis stands 22" tall to the top of her head, which is to scale for 14" mane 6 ponies. She is made of minky, with organza wings, and a poly satin "saddle". She's got an internal frame and is pose-able, including her head. This is only my second plush, so I'm not quite ready to share my secrets or do commissions. For more information on those subjects, please see this journal entry: [link] Thanks for understanding
WARNING: I'm a somewhat prudish old mom! I'm SO grateful for all the wonderful compliments and encouragement, but if you post with profanity, I'm going to hide it. Thanks for keeping it SFW And, thanks so much to everybody who suggested this plushie to be featured in Equestria Daily or as a Daily Deviation!
This plushie has been sold. Any new plushies will be uploaded to my dA gallery before being auctioned.
UPDATE: It is apparent that I owe some apologies. I have made a few privately, but I will post one here, because I am sure there are more people watching this page that are unhappy with me. This description previously stated that Chrysalis was not available for sale, but that if that changed, I would let people know with an update to this page. Although I had never intended to sell her outside of an ebay auction, I chose to sell her privately, under special circumstances. Although she was never generally available, I should have updated the description to reflect changing circumstances. For those of you who were watching this page in anticipation of her becoming available, I am very sorry for having handled this in a way which was unclear, and which left some of you frustrated and upset.
My plan was to list her on ebay within a week or two of uploading the photos, and to update the information in the description. That's what I did with my first plush. Shortly after I uploaded the first Chrysalis photo, I got hit with a flood of messages and notes regarding a potential buyer. After a great deal of consideration, I chose to do a one-time private sale for a number of personal and professional reasons. It was a unique situation, and I would not have sold her privately under normal circumstances. At the time, I had only received the one serious inquiry for her. If it had fallen through, I would have gone ahead with an auction which I would have notified people about.
I made a number of updates to this page the first few days. I eventually realized that each time I did so, my page took a negative hit in the dA search results. Nobody really knew who I was a month ago, and I was just trying to get started. When you’re new and worried that no one will see your work, it’s painful to keep getting pushed down in the search results. At the time, I felt that I had to quit updating through the description. Instead, I put up some comments regarding the sale, and I referenced it in my journal. I thought that people knew, but it is clear that neither of these strategies completely compensated for the lack of updates to the description. I have left people upset, for which I am very sorry. With how many views this page now has, it seems silly to have been concerned about search rankings, but at the time, it seemed appropriate.
I do plan to make at least one more Chrysalis this year, and I've already bought all the materials. I'm learning to use an embroidery machine, and new versions will have higher quality details than the one pictured here. I’m working on another design right now, so it will have to wait a bit.
Sadly, as much as I enjoy making plushies, when it comes to sales, I regularly get the message that I’m spreading far more disappointment than joy. Whether it's private sale or auction, I end up with 1 happy person and scores of unhappy ones. I will never be able to work quickly enough or cheaply enough to balance that out in any way that resembles satisfactory. That’s the real down side of this for me.
