Everyone was tugging into their dinner greedily since Katara entirely forgot to fix lunch for them. The mood was lightly and happy and Katara let herself get swept with the mood, trying to forget her worries.

They waded through the water, slowly making their way through a cave she had found a few days before and was "so excited" to show him. He couldn't stop looking at the arch of her back and how smooth her skin was, even as the light from the sun dimmed the further in the cave they went.
The light disappeared. Zuko looked back at the entrance of the cave, as if he was scared of losing it. He wasn't though; it just came as a natural reaction. He faced forward once more, and couldn't see anything. The only indication of Katara's presence was the small lapping sounds from her movement in the water.
They walked on in comfortable quiet. Zuko followed the sound of Katara humming an impromptu tune, the only thing keeping him from running into a wall.
