The WHO behind the WHATWhy does Twelve Gates exist?More Like This
Why do we do what we do?
It's not really a matter of what we do. It's the who behind the what.
We do this…
…because someone in this world will read NARUTO but won't go to church.
…because someone in this world will read ONE PIECE but won't talk about God.
…because someone in this world will read BLEACH but won't pick up the Bible.
…because someone in this world may really need this right now.
We do this because of a person.
We do this because of a life.
This might be the most creative, incredible, powerful, awesome, and rockin' way to speak life into someone's world who really needs a word of encouragement today. In a world where everyone and everything is trying to tear us down and break us apart, this might be the only way someone is getting built up.
You have been gifted (1 Peter 4:10).
You have been made passionate about and able to do what God has c

We want greenhouses but do not get them. - John Acuff
A few things that I have been working on for 6 years are finally starting to happen.
Things I pushed on are picking up speed.
Things I didn’t even think could ever happen are starting to come together bit by bit.
But the truth is, if you told me 6 years ago that it would take me 6 years to do these things, I would have told you, “I hate you.”
Maybe I wouldn’t have been that direct or blunt. I would have just said, “Thank you for your advice.” I would have shaken your hand and calmly walked away. But all the while, I would have been thinking you are mistaken. I would have thought I could go faster. That things would pick up speed sooner.
I wanted my career and dream to be a greenhouse. I didn’t want a long, slow hustle,

Light that makes people see
Lights that makes people blind

I see lights bright as the Sun and pretty as the Dawn
They're calling me "come, come, I'm the One, the Light you are looking for."
I ran I chased I stumbled
lights are fading away
I stopped and looked
They're still there
Far above, bright as the Sun, cold as stone
They are calling
I closed my eyes
And darkness consumed me

The light found me when I fell
It's small, bright and warm
I touched it
It sparks out the thousand colors of the rainbow
it runs around me
Dances and sings
The darkness was chased away
The light found me

The light asks me to hold it high
to let it shine, to let it heal, to let it dance
I said I can't
I'm too short and my arm is too weak
The light says it's all right
Just hold on to me
and I will give you strength and might

When You Want to QuitSometimes, this is just not easy.More Like This
I won't be the last to admit that this whole manga business for Jesus is pretty tough.
In fact, I might be the first to admit it. And often.
I admit it:
Sometimes, I get wore out.
Sometimes, I doubt my abilities.
Sometimes, I think this is worthless.
Sometimes, I think I am worthless.
Sometimes, I feel defeated.
Sometimes, I want to give up.
Lately, particularly due to certain circumstances surrounding me, I've felt even more strongly that it would be best to just give up. I heard in my mind again and again to just let go. To just quit. To stop making manga. To forget about TG. To stop trying to start something or accomplish anything or hope for greater things.
And then, because God shows up perfectly on time every time, I heard a message that reminded me of something very important:
We are vulnerable because we are valuable.
We are surrounded by forces telling u

Speaking of dominating for God's glory, here's a short message [I underhandedly swiped] from Pastor Steven Furtick!
I hope it encourages you to keep living beautifully by doing whatever it is you've been given to do at this moment in time!
How to Glorify God| Pastor Steven Furtick
