Witness the power of nature at Framed By Nature .NET

As this storm continued to track east-southeast over I-90, it became more organized both visually and on radar. At this point, it began to take on a "stacked plates" type of structure :wow: On the right side, you can see it beginning to suck in more moisture  At the top/left, it's inflowing another cell that fired out in front of it. Crazy storm!

Please tell me what you think!

School of fish swimming very close in shallow water, this was a great day and I hope to encounter more marine life in due time with my underwater camera setup.

Other news there will be a sequel for the Disney film 'Finding Nemo' that will be out in cinemas 2015. This is an exciting day for me, I have always loved Nemo ever since I was younger it has been my favourite animated movie. The new one is going to be called 'Finding Dory'. Go figure!

Aurora Australis from Mount Buffalo National Park Australia, 17th of March, 2013
Apart from a few little timelapse sequences which I will probably release as part of a much larger timelapse project later in the year, this will be my last upload from this spectacular aurora display about three weeks ago. Bring on the next one.

At the foot of Spearfish Falls near Savoy, SD lies these gorgeous ice formations. We shot under cloudy conditions, which allowed me to stop down and take a long-exposure shot of the ice formations with the falls in the background. Upped the vibrance to bring out the blues in the ice, other than that, this shot is pretty much straight out of the camera :)

And this is what I drew for the last week (I'm so dead now :faint:). This is cover which I did for my calendar (for the college)...though the cover is cropped a bit. Concept of my calendar was Good VS Evil (also 2D&3D) and illustrations inside were drawn that way that they have to be seen from the left or right side of the calendar (perspective). Some of cropped images from the calendar you can check on our Tumblr here, here and here (more you can see there). :la:

I drew this from beginning till the end with colors. Sometimes I drew it also on my laptop (at college). I had many composition versions for this drawing...cropped ones. But at the end I chosen this one. And I also tried to draw many opposite stuff on this painting...angel-demon, red-green, dark-light, composition...and so on. Also my sis had to pose me for the hands...haha. :giggle: And these females...ah...I almost never draw them. At the college I edited angel's face for 3 hours :faint: I'm so not good for that...haha...give me guys and I'll like you ;P And I had to split this painting into more PSD files because it was so big...so I drew over .jpg files.

:bulletred: Adobe Photoshop CS6
:bulletred: tablet Wacom Bamboo Pen & Touch Special Edition M
:bulletred: original size is 8896 x 4664 px
:bulletred: I had 278 layers (5 PSD files)
:bulletred: I drew it 28.5 hours

:bulletred: On Tumblr you can check it here :dummy:
:bulletred: Composition guides, sketch and details from this painting you can check here :la:

I hope you like it and comments are welcome

"I'm lost in the field of beautiful flowers. I want to run away but I can’t find a way. I stopped and looked at the sky full of stars and suddenly the dark sky colored a beautiful aurora which showed me a path to the horizon."

Anyway...this is something that I started to draw a while ago. I finished it yesterday and today I made it wider, cuz of composition. I edited it so many times. At first I drew it only with 2 colors...mostly with blue and magenta tones, with white. But at the end I changed hues and I added a little orange color to the sunset. I drew it fully with colors in Manga Studio and Photoshop. In MS I drew sharper clouds and aurora...in Photoshop everything else. :dummy: And this drawing is from period when I was obsessed with fisheye perspective...and only this one is finished (why am I so slow >.<). And I also wanted to draw a little more "summer" piece...well, cuz it's actually summer :la: Well...the other thing...I hope you like blue and magenta...haha :giggle:

Based upon a conversation with my friend :) Think of the dragon as a small neon version of Smauglock? I just have been playing too much infamous second son I am afraid...

Here is the prompt:

John was born a summoner, and was attending the prestigious magick collage for the gifted as per the law required of him. He was one of the oldest of his class, in his fourth year, his classmates had all summoned some form of animal, be it lions, tigers, hawks, hell he would even settle for a rabbit, yet he was not able to summon anything whatsoever. He thought to himself, "well, John, look at you. You are broken, wounded, and basically depressed. What on earth would sign a contract with you?"

And then the day came.

My site humoncomics.com/

And illustrated version of the song "Rejs dig op og kom videre" (Get up and move on) by Danser Med Drenge (Dancing with boys)

I like how they have songs for every level of problems. From the minor stuff like this one, missing family members you have lost contact with like "Kære lille søster" (Dear little sister), to the loss of loved ones like the song "Er der nogen i himlsen" (Is there anyone in Heaven), and songs for when the terrible things have happened and you come out on the other side like "En dejlig morgen" (A wonderful morning)

You can hear a live version of this song here www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6hlvW… (It's in Danish)

EDIT: Because this is turning into a thing: This has nothing to do with mental illness. It might not translate well to English, but it's very clear in the Danish version that it's just about a person with bad luck who doesn't understand why life won't give them a break (things like a car braking down, or losing your wallet) and get so caught up in how unfair their life is that they forget to see the bigger picture.

rainbow boats should be the norm for all river cruises.. I had to wait quite long to get the rainbow boats in the picture. I guess it was worth it in the end.

Hope you like the result!

Project season begins! I am after a shot that has eluded me now for 2 years. Hopefully not 3. First wave session of the winter out shooting my favorite spot. Only good fan of the eve but was still fun to watch. Unfortunately the way I'm shooting means flare is a huge issue...which in this case I think kills the shot...oh well..next time!

Tricky little bugger!

Thanks for looking.

David Bowie-I Took a Trip on a Gemini Spaceship-[link]
Took a trip on a Gemini spacecraft
And I thought about you
I passed through the shadow of Jupiter
(sigh)
And I thought about you
I shot my spacegun
And boy, I really felt blue

Two or three flying saucers
Parked under the stars
The winding stream
Moon shining down
On some little town
And with each beam
The same old dream

I took a trip on a Gemini spacecraft
And I thought about you
Well I shot my spacegun
And I thought about you
Pulled down my sun visor
Boy, I really felt blue

You jumped into your Gemini
I jumped into mine
We'll orbit the Moon
For just one time
Tomorrow night
Tomorrow night
Will you hold hands
With me under the moonlight

Took a trip in a Gemini spacecraft
And I thought about you
I shot my spacegun
And I thought about you
I took, I took a walk in space
Boy, I really felt blue

Well I peeked through the crack
And I looked way back
The stardust trail
Leading back to you
What did I do
What could I do
What did I do
Well
I thought about you
I thought about you
Took a trip on a Gemini spacecraft
And thought about you

Leslie West - My Gravity - [link]

I have traveled down this road before
I've been places I didn't wanna be
All my friends stopped knocking at my door
When they couldn't get no more from me

That's okay, I got my angel
Someone to watch out over me

In this world filled with doubt
There's so much pain and sorrow
As long as you are here with me
I got vision, I got tomorrow

That's okay, I got my angel
Someone to watch out over me

It's you and me, just you and me, babe
Girl, you are my gravity
It's you and me, just you and me, babe
As long as you, as long as you
As long as you are here with me

That's okay, I got my angel
Someone to watch out over me

It's you and me, just you and me, babe
