"I am the Princess of the Night, thus it is my duty to watch over your dreams."
Luna is my favorite pony; mainly because of her association with night, solitude and space! I tried to convey that through this piece; the moon might have been a place of banishment, but I feel it could also be a place of retreat for Luna. Just another quiet night relaxing under the stars. She might be a bit socially awkward, but maybe she just needs people to show her the way.
I took the liberty to give Luna a special "Space-Kid" set of accessories, and made them look like black crystals with cyan highlights. It's very Tron-esque, but it's not meant to be electronic. Anyway, it's a little personal touch.
Now before anyone says "the moon doesn't work like that", to that I say "Hah!"
Quick drawing before bed to help me relax. Somehow, drawing Luna at night always makes me feel drowsy! I think it's the lovely blue hues that relax my eyes. I might try to see how this would look printed buttons sometime, it seems to be a good size for it!
I drew this as a gift for ! ^^ he's such a nice guy, and his vectors are REALLY AWESOME! Check them out! He made me this gorgeous vector of my character Lily Petals I just had to draw something back for him! :3
Now I'm not a Lunaholic like him, but I really adore the season 1 Luna, or should I say Woona So I decided to draw her like this! I hope he doesn't mind! (:
This drawing was inspired a lot by this lovely music:[link] I didn't know brony music was that good!
Finally the long awaited and often teased Milk for the Ugly is here! Me, akreon and a bunch of lovely people worked on it really hard but all the efforts were well worth the effect. It holds a very special place in our hearts and we hope you'll like it as much as we do.
Remember that this year we're joining deviantART at San Diego Comic Con! Drop by their booth at the Artists' Alley to get posters and freebies connected with the Motion Book.

Lunas KH outfit is slightly less feminin than her sisters as she have a slight streak of tomboism in her.(yea I am not making that up, we all saw that she played with the others in the end of Luna Eclipsed, we also saw that she have a slight tendancy to lose her temper when someone hits a soar point) I have yet to design a weapon for her but I was thinking of something like a scythe or a glaive...
News: Sorry that I mistakenly treat "Tsundere" as "Yandere" when looking for the dictionary. She should be a Tsundere instead, NOT Yandere!! We are very sorry for causing any confusion....QAQ....
The Eighth Character of 「MLP + moe anthropomorphism」 project : Princess Luna Kind:Alicorn Princess Luna - who everyone's looking forward to She seems a bit smaller than Celestia. I always think that she will be just lovely if she is a little sister. Having a snow-white pale skin decorated by a black dark dress, just like a lustrous moon in the dark sky. I think if she is anthropomorphized, she will be a Tsundere！ "Tsundere" in Wikipedia: [link]
I hope this setting will not make you too disappointed. I plan to draw the Luna version of the Nightmare Moon when I am free. Sorry to keeping you waiting again.
I haven't painted Canon long time ago. At the court of the community of bronies I give another picture with the princesses. The apostasy of the moon is already not a new topic, but I very much like the rebels and tyrants.
It's FAR from being finished, but I wanted everyone to get a sneak peek at the new deluxe print that will be available at Bronycon later this summer! Once the final piece is ready, I'll post it.
This will also likely end up as a comic cover in the near future as well!
As most of my followers/fans know, I don't often do digital color, but how I approach inking on artwork dictates how color will be done. Traditional comic book inking is India ink with brush or pen, and effect/corrections with white paint. Markers or paint can reactivate the ink and smear it, or have adverse reaction to the white paint, so digital is the simplest approach in this case. Check out some of my copic marker pieces for how I approach inking there.

I wasn't expecting the outcome to be this fab. I'm so proud of myself :'D I also wasn't expecting to finish this in the same night of which I started it due to the fact that I had other work to do. But I found time nonetheless! How unfortunate that I decided to stay up and work on this tonight when tomorrow is a school day xD now I shall get off of DA for the night to sleepz.
Criticize me, CAP'N!
Fluttershy's attire is from one of my older deviations, and has been tweaked.
