Portal (c) VALVE GLaDOS Character Design inspired by ~RED-Elice ---
Black pen on sketchbook paper used as mediums. Averaging 8-9 hours to complete.
This is my first attempt at drawing anything for the Portal fandom. A good friend of mine on Tumblr roleplays a GLaDOS muse, and it was largely due to her getting me into Portal that my desire to draw today came out in this.
The basic concept for the headdress GLaDOS wears is inspired by ~RED-Elice's stunning GLaDOS concepts. I free-formed the clothes and fumbled through a different type of chassis to attach her to. Other than that, the outfit is largely my own customization of the GLaDOS created by her. Sort of a different outfit, but same figure underneath, you could say.
All material belongs to me, and please link back when using the artwork. Thank you.
I was sitting around at Swancon, chatting with friends, and the idea of Steampunk Portal came up. ...and we got thinking, how on earth would you make portals in the early industrial era? Oh crap, you'd have to *dig* them, wouldn't you? With your steam-powered pick.
And well, Portal, being made by Valve, available on Steam? It just kind of needed to be done.
By the way, I've finished Portal 2, but please refrain from spoilers in the comments as others may not yet have done so.

So yes, I'm reviving the steampunk Portal series I started two years ago, this time with the wonderful sentry turrets. I'd forgotten just how much FUN coming up with the writing to go along with them was! More to come.
So... I just barely played through Portal 2 for the first time and it was amazing. And, surprise, I totally ship Chelldos XD so I've drawn a lot of these stupid little comics, and the backgrounds are easy so it doesn't take long to color them, so if you guys like them I might post more. You know. Just because. They're super fun to draw XD Enjoy!
I got this beautiful Tabineko figure by the precious Jason <3 I still cannot believe this and am also totally in love with her! It was my favourite cosplay of 2014. Was so stunned while unpacking her that I really want to do another photoshoot in this costume again
This was a commission for ~FalconFossi and it was really fun and stressing at the same time (you can read her comment about it here [link]) fish is difficult for me and I wanted it to be perfect. She told me that sashimi was her favorite food and wanted me to make a tray with fish and a dragon roll if I could fit it somewhere, but she also left me a lot of creativity freedom to decide what to include and how to organize everything (yay, fun!). Veggies, rice and ginger was okay but no wasabi. She kinda dared me to make the shiny metallic skin of mackerel and I love how it turned out. Salmon and tuna were also in her list of favorites and I thought the colors would work great.
She sent me a lot of references for the plate but I decided to go with this one: [link] I've never made a tray before so I had to figure out a way to make the shape. I took tips from this tutorial by ~lava-tomato when I made the salmon but I think I can still improve. The salmon and mackerel were made using my own technique. The roll was constructed using a similar technique than what's shown on this tutorial by *chat-noir except that with a smaller scale, and the avocado is a simple skinner blend. The cucumber, lemon and raddish/fish cake are canes I made using my own techniques.
She wanted to make a bracelet out of this so she asked me to make holes on the tray, I hope that she'll post photos of the bracelet when it's finished so feel free to check :devfalcon-fossi: out. I was also asked to make everything relatively flat because she was afraid that with her active life-style anything would get caught, so on the second photo you can see that nothing protrudes too much. This took a lot of love, research, time and work, but this is just the type of work I love to do
Technical stuff: All handmade by me with polymer clay without the use of molds, bought pieces or pre-mades. Acrylic paints were used for the black border on the tray, silver mica for the skin of the mackerel and glaze to make the plate look porcelanized and the fish and fruit look moist. The plate is 2.5 cm - 1 inch long, so everything is really small but I don't think you can take that from the photo XD

Not sure how I feel about this one. It's very......flashy. Maybe too much?
Herobrine is one creepy mofo. I kind of wish he were legitimately in the game, but with the odds against spotting him astronomical. No one would believe you. Even if he is totally a fabrication of the internet, Herobrine is still probably my favorite video game legend.
This is a cool Gamora illustration I did for the Sketch Lottery art blog. FYI Gamora is a marvel comic book character she is a member of the Guardian's of the galaxy a sci fi comic that was first created in the 70's. Gamora is the daughter of Thanos a super evil space villain, she is also a space pirate and all around wild child but usually ends up doing good most of the time. Since the character was created in the 1970's its a safe bet that her look was patterned after the classic star trek green woman character(yes I know they are called Orion slave girls). Plus she is going to be in the upcoming marvel film Guardians of the Galaxy so if you get a chance pop on over to Sketch Lottery and check out all the cool art on the site. here is a link: www.sketchlottery.com/
I created this illustration using pencil (it was a quick sketch so I did not ink the drawing) and Photoshop cs6 for the color rendering.
