Strawberry Jam Recipe:
¼ cup lemon juice
2 cups sugar
Wash and hull the strawberries and cut into quarters. Put them into a pyrex bowl and cover with cling wrap and pierce. Cook on high for 4 minutes.
Mash the strawberries to a pulp then add the lemon juice and sugar and stir well. Place plate in freezer in preparation for gel test.
Cook uncovered on high for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. If the jam looks like boiling over reduce the heat to medium.
Carry out gel test. Allow to stand for 5 minutes, stir and then pour into hot sterilised jars. Seal, label and store in pantry.
