"I " Her throat was a tremble. Her voice died in the empty space, hoarse and tender as it was. She didn't want to talk anymore. She had no words. There was nothing left to say. She just wanted to sleep, sleep and never wake up. She was tired, so very tired. Her eyes remained shut and her back leaned into the bench she found herself on. Her body shook and she could feel nothing. Everything was numb, a soothing gentle numb.
"Get up." The voice demanded of her, louder it was a powerful explosion of words. She slowly lifted her chin from her chest, weary weak eyes fluttered open. "Get up Shepard." She met a strong russet gaze. He looked so familiar Why Why couldn't she remember?
"A-Anderson ?" Her voice betrayed her, croaking whispers that wove themselves into the atmosphere. Anderson, Admiral Anderson? Impossible, he was dead. She sa

“The Reapers served us.”
The world was blood and smoke, screams filled the air. The figure bent down to meet eyes with Shepard, still writhing on the floor against the binds. Blood still oozed from her wounds, eyes clouded with tears. Surely there had been a sign...
She had been wrong, oh so wrong.
“You have proven yourself, little creature. I’ll send you back to your people...but you won’t remember this. You won’t remember anything, really. You can’t know of us, but I’m sure you’ll be nice and happy the way you were before.” Shepard would’ve spit in its face, screamed at it and cursed, but she found no voice or strength.
“You killed our servants, but that’s fine. There are more, yes, many more floating around. You aren
An End Once and For All (Indocrintation/Destroy) 1Her head was throbbing. An Immensely painful pounding fighting the confines of her skull as if it sought escape. Her blood rushed in her ears and she pressed her gloved fingers to her temples and squeezed her eyes shut again, massaging her head to keep the pain from dominating her. No matter what she did however, Commander Lorraine Shepard couldn't get his voice out of her head. It was still there, whispering the same things to the darkest recesses of her mind...over and over and over... it was echoing through her skull, ricocheting through her mind and preying upon her thoughts. It was manipulating her, and it rung with a sincerity that struck more fear in her heart than what they were about to do.More Like This
You do not yet comprehend your place in things, Shepard.
"What's that, Commander?"
Lorraine lifted her head, her eyes snapping open and locking on the person seated across from her, Kaidan, who had spoken. She didn't answer for a moment, her mind taking a moment to refocus oh her s

The chorus of "Yes, sir's" that followed were of little comfort to the admiral. There were too many dead, too many that had to be tagged. The morgues throughout the city of London were going to overflow with the dead. If they weren't careful, disease would spread through the city like the Black Plague that had happened centuries before.
He didn't know how Shepard had managed to make it inside The Citadel-it was a miracle, a miracle that spared the galaxy. The dead Reapers around London served as a morale boost to the citizens of Earth, but also acted as a testament to the courage of the soldiers who fought in the terrible war. The Reapers were gone; the galaxy was safe.
Hackett cast an eye over the his remaining troops searching the rubble. Many soldier that

Kaidan stirred his spoon into the bland mashed potatoes. Why had he gone back for seconds? He wasn't hungry. Habit. How many times had Blakely swore she wasn't hungry then proceed to eat half of the food on his tray.
Blakely was here but not where she was suppose to be. Did she plan to come down and see if he was settled? Liara had taken up her spot, right around the corner. Only Cerberus would give the captain a luxury suite up top. Time changes things And the Reapers had taken the precious gift of time.
"But the chef was also the plumber." Donnelly told them with a wicked laugh. "So you can take that any way you wish."
Kaidan glanced up at the people sitting at the end of the table. Six e

He downed it quickly, the foul liquid burning the back of his throat, then slammed the small glass back onto the bar with unintended harshness-luckily the glass didn't break. He closed his eyes, feeling the immediate buzz from the liquor. He allowed himself to sink into the feeling for a long moment, but the thoughts came back unbidden.
She was dead.
He quickly gestured to the bartender-a turian man-for another drink.
She was gone.
He pinched the bridge of his nose and scrunched up his face, willing himself to control his thoughts but finding himself unable to do so. He gripped the smooth bar surface intensely, feeling the usual churning in his stomach that he felt when those dreaded thoughts invaded his subconscious. The turian slid the green liquor into his reach and the man grabbed it with trembling fingers, throwing it back. His alcohol induced thoughtlessness lasted longer this time and he welcomed it gratefully.
Shepard was dead.
He groaned, how

"Joker! Admiral Hackett wants us to go to Mars immediately, so get us there ASAP."
"Aye aye, Commander." said the pilot. Shepard sat on the chair in front of her desk and started reading important reports on her datapad. She was taken aback when she noticed that casualty reports were already available. Everything happened so quickly. Shepard thought she would have had more time after destroying the Mass Relay in the Bahak System. And the Council. How could they be so blind? Shepard promised herself that the next time she saw them, she would tell them "I told you so!" She will tell them how silly they were to ignore the threat and her warnings. But Shepard got interrupted in her train of thoughts by her pilot.
"What is it Joker?"
"KaidI mean, Major Alenko would like to talk to you in the Observation Deck. He says it's urgent."
Shepard sighed loudly. Can't he leave me alone for five minutes? "Alright. Tell him I'm coming.
