To Raise the Sun – Chapter 3
Ven turned lazily in his sleep. He felt good, much better than he had in… how long had he been sleeping? A long time it seemed, a long time full of nightmares and battles. Now, however, his heart felt at ease again. Vantias’ presence was all but gone; he couldn’t feel the cold, eerie darkness creeping into his mind anymore.
His resting place seemed a lot more comfortable, too.
Far from the hard throne Aqua had put him to rest on (“be right back” she’d said. Yeah sure…) he was now curled up on something so soft and fluffy it felt as if he were sleeping on a cloud. Or was he really sleeping on a cloud? Ven opened his eyes lazily, confirming that the thing he slept on was indeed a fluffy little mass of vaporized water high up in the sky, just thick enough to support him. This was a nice dream, certainly a well needed change from all those nightmares.

The PyramidJet stood at the front of his latest tickle adventure. He was excited beyond words when he heard about it, it was a pyramid out in the Northern Desert based solely around tickling. All the traps and creatures within this thing were supposed to be used for friendly purpose, and if at any point someone wanted to be set free all they need to do was command for it to stop. After which they'd be teleported to the front of the Pyramid. His family was staying at a hotel near here and explained he'd be the first one to go in to see how intense it is. The tall yellow walled pyramid stood fifty feet high, with the opening at the very base level. Despite the excitement he couldn’t help but gulp from feeling a bit nervous.
