It's another one shot from my winter series of 2010.

I loved those rowan tree's beads against cold, yet sunny - winter aura. They enchanced all the raw surrounding with their warmth, reminding of the spring that is to come

Pear blossoms in my garden

The actual flowers were relatively small but so pretty I think the photo is nearly the same size as the flowers

The slight bokeh effect in the back was in the actual photo and not added later!

Used my Canon A2200 and GIMP to make slight colour adjustments and to crop the image

Not far from where I live there is this beach where there always is waves no matter how the weather is, mostly cause of the rocky seafloor and the undercurrents.

Though the title would be befitting of the the cold we have up here at times.

Deliberately lowered the temperature in post to bring forth even more cold ( from 4550 to 4100 ), and removed a couple of ambient lights to leave only the one orange strong light shining.

One of my favourite spots: Muuramenjoki in central Finland.

A lovely afternoon on river Syne. The cloudy sky gives this late afternoon scene a dramatic look.

One of the many, many pictures I took there. The canyon is so amazing and the colors are just so beautiful.

If you ever happen to be in this area you should visit it. It's really worth the time (and money).

Today i tried again to capture snowflakes,but this time i decided to use all my extension tubes all together to see them closer that i can.

HDR attempt on UEA's Campus

I am for the moment dedicated to my Photo of the Day project! So i try to plan to have a camera with me just about at all times! After watching the weather yesterday, i made sure that i was going to have one with me today at work! I am fortunate enough to be out for most my workday! Today while driving to my next work order I see this scene unfolding to my left! I turn on my official emergency flashers as well as my hazards, and stick the camera out of the window of the truck.... snap snap snap! the whole process took about 15 seconds! No harmn, no foul! Made a comment a few days ago to a friend on Deviant art! I told her that i expect to be lucky, because i am willing to put my self in lucks way! Today, with this image i can emphasize that point! I took my camera to work expecting to see some good weather based on the weather report from yesterday that said a cold front would be moving in! I am not say its the best shot in the world, However i am saying it something to look at! I got lucky once again!
