Everyone was sleeping. Everyone except the female narrator, or should we say: Substitute Narrator. She has been hearing absolute silence for the past two hours. She was in another monitoring room, almost looks exactly like the male narrator's, only it was smaller in width.
She listened as the Narrator gave Stanley directions on where to go. And she also heard when the Narrator got mad at Stanley. She heard everything that came from from the main narrator's room. She knew that the Narrator...had a crush on Stanley. The Narrator, of course, wouldn't admit it to her straightforward.
