Introducing, HATOFUL BOYFRIEND.
It's a stereotypical otome game (dating sim), except instead of pursuing hot anime guys, the player pursues...pigeons? Yes, that's right, pigeons. And not even cartoon pigeons, either...badly photoshopped cutouts of real life pigeons.
The plotline is as follows: you (the player) are the only human to attend a prestigious academy for gifted birds (I'm not shitting you). As you make choices throughout the game, you slowly find yourself falling love with one of the feathery male leads. The title is a play on words, combining the Japanese pronunciation of the English word "heartful", and the Japanese word for pigeon, "hato".
Observe some of the encounters that await, and prepare to surrender yourself to the romance~
