Slice of Life - ReviewMore Like This
As usual with my reviews, it will contain spoilers. Those of you who have not watched the latest episode yet, you have been warned.
The basic premise of this episode is that, while Twilight and her friends do battle with a dangerous monster, the rest of the citizens of Ponyville prepare themselves for a wedding.
Now, before I get into the actually episode itself and what I thought of it, let me just take a moment to say how incredible that we've reached this point in the series. I mean it's a real landmark for it, one hundred episodes. All those years ago, when I first started watching this show, and thus the point when I started making regular reviews for it, I never once suspected that it would last as long as it did. Oh, I certainly liked it, and felt that it was worth writing about, but I figured at the time that it would last two, maybe three seasons at most. Thankfully, that was not the case, and this show has simply gone from strength to strength, proving everyone, including mys

(I'll fix the errors as I go along, for example I've already fixed the Final Fantasy movie being the Spirits Within and not Advent Children. This retrospective stuff takes a lot of time and effort)
2005: What the fuck happened? This is... a difficult year, but at least a lot happened. Let's start with Spongebob entering its fourth season and Family Guy returns (to its fourth season) to FOX after popular DVD sales. Both of these shows were previously cancelled, but because corporations wanted more and more money they kept them going. Also Family Guy got a spin-off in American Dad. American Dad isn't as good as Family Guy was, but it's a lot better than Family Guy currently is. Oh and speaking of Spongebob it may as well have gotten a spin-off too since Coconut Fred's Fruit Salad Island aired this year too.
Eras of Animation - The 2000's (Part 1)Since I'm going to do a list of the top 10 worst cartoons of this particular decade (2000-2009) I thought that it might be fun to do a little bit of a retrospective on the era. And maybe I'll do a little bit more on other decades. Now I said that this was one of the worst decades (not THE worst, that's generally agreed on to be the 70's), but this is a particularly bad decade. I will say that this decade had some really, really good gems. That's because the early 2000's were more a less a continuation of the 90's. When I talk about this decade I tend to refer more to the mid-2000's, which not even the early 2000's can really save. It's not even the shows that's most of the problems, it's the trends that started here, and we'll talk about them soon. So, let's take this year by year, and we'll talk about the events as they transpire. Also, to keep this simple, we're going to be largely talking about American animation history. I don't have the time to research the entire world's animatioMore Like This
