“And so then Soos ate the Trickster alive while it cried out in joy. But obviously we realized people would keep throwing out Loser Candy and it’d started all over again, so before Soos finished him off we made an agreement for him to take care of this each year. But of course Stan’s got him handing out fliers all night, so he’s not going to be able to make it. That’s why we need your help to quell the Trickster for another year!” Dipper paused as he finished explaining the true events of last year’s Summerween to Wendy. It was only now he realized how incredibly insane it all sounded aloud.
Needless to say, Wendy gave him a good glare. “…okay.”
“…what, really? You believe me? Why would you believe something that sounds so stupid?”
“I saw Nate turn into a hot dog. Candy Monsters aren’t too much of a stretch.”

When Celestia regained her senses, an incessant ringing lingered in her ears and a dulled pain throbbed in her well-toned muscles. Her memory put together what had happened to her: she had just been blasted through a hospital wall. She coughed up some dust and steadily rose to all fours, rubbing her pounding head. It was not necessarily the force of the crash that temporarily stunned, but the concentrated power of that fearsome bolt of energy. It struck her square in the chest; a few inches higher and it would have struck her heart, and that would have left some serious damage.
She looked up and narrowed her vision through the hazy cloud of parting dust, where she saw a predator’s harlequin eyes, accompanied by the hulking form of their owner, emerging from the next room over, both fixed on her malevolently like a famished owl on a tasty rodent.
Queen Chrysalis wore a straight face, too calm and restrained to be natural. The fires of Taratarus
Girls Rock The smells coming from the kitchen certainly made it obvious that Erika was doing what she was known best for: cooking. In the living room, Annette idly watched TV while Catherine typed out some things on her lap top. It was as it was, just another mundane visit for them. The permeating odors from the kitchen reached Catherine's nose, and the plump redhead perked up a little.More Like This
"Mm... smells like she's making fettuccini alfredo... my favorite!" She smiled and kept working on her computer, now eager for Erika's culinary touch in making one of her favorite meals.
"I thought everything is your favorite," Annette said with a smirk. Catherine's plump figure was something the blonde enjoyed teasing, but in a friendly ribbing manner. Not that Annette was guilt-free herself: all three of the friends were softer than when they first started college, and Annette's own butt was larger these days, and not as firm as she'd

The Changeling Kingdom, or the 'Motherland' as the species often affectionately referred to it, was located far away from Equestria in the east, crossing plains, deserts and glaciers. It would take weeks worth of travel for any pony using non-magical means to reach the country, but once they did, they would definitely know.
It was a vast, depleted country, characterised by a desolate mountainous landscape which, during its infamously long, vicious winters, was always blanketed by thick layers of snow. The summer was not too pleasant, either; it sometimes got hot enough to kill scores off by heatstroke. The kingdom, especially as a mostly rural one, had its pluses like large forests and seas, but for the most part, it was the same greyed nightmare wherever you went. So as you can imagine, they did not do well in the tourism industry.
It was an established fact that the Changeling Kingdom was by no means the most modernised or wealthiest nation, even before the current mona

Princess Pupa was sat in her chair outside in the gardens, placed right underneath a tall, beautiful cherry blossom tree and overlooking the ornamental koi pond. She was dressed up in a soft lilac kimono and a thick, warm blanket placed over her forelegs. One of her younger nannies knelt behind her chair, using her horn to levitate and brush her gossamer mane.
The princess felt very gloomy that day. She didn't like her mother's dacha, not this one all the way in the east of the kingdom. There was nothing outside but trees and mountains scraping the skies. She wanted so badly to go back to their grand palace in the enormous capital where the gardens were much more beautiful than this one, complete with a grand exotic menagerie, but her nannies told her it was "too dangerous" there right now and her mother "had important things to do".
She didn't care. She and her family had been at the dacha for days with a lot of other well-groomed Changelings in darker, muted kimonos.
Chapter 1For what seemed like the hundredth time Silver Spoon's hoof found its way into her custom made Hoity Toity saddle bag in search of the letter she had received just over a month prior. Silver pulled the manila paper from the depths of her saddle, unfolding it quickly, her eyes scanning the lines of the letter that she could almost recite by memory considering how many times she had read its contents.More Like This

I woke with a start, like something had interrupted my sleep, but what that would be I had no idea.
I looked over to my alarm clock and saw that it was already 8:00AM.
'That's odd.' I thought to myself. 'Normally I would have woken up ages ago. It must be because of going to bed so late.'
Just then a really loud and urgent knocking was heard from my window. 'That has to be what woke me up. But, what on Earth is it?'
I got up from my comfortable bed and walked over to the window. Opening the curtains I squeaked with fright there, mere millimetres from the outside window pane, was Len's face grinning at me.
He pointed to the bottom of the sheet of glass, indicating for me to open it. Shakily I did so and he hopped through it, followed by a very sleepy looking Rin.
"H-how did you...?" I stuttered to them.
"Told you I had a plan." Len winked flashing a cocky grin at me.
"Sorry if he scared you. And for waking you up." Rin yawned, her mouth wide open, her arm covering he

As I pulled on his clothes, I felt extremely glad that his clothes were lose my underwear was soaked through and if his clothes hadn't been as loose as they were, there would have been obvious, large, brown blotches. I also felt slightly weirded out that he was the same size as me...
Collecting my clothes from the ground, I heard a massive crash coming from the room next door, the room that Rin and Len shared.
"Give it back!" Len's voice carried through the house. I had a bad feeling about this.
Walking up to their room, I heard another load crash. I knocked on their door and walked in to see Rin running across the room holding the notebook, reading through it, Len running after her.
"I said give it BACK!!" He yelled so hard that his voice cracked a little at the end, making him sound really cute. 'Cute?' I puzzled with myself. 'Where did that come from?'

As Rin got changed, I walked around getting our 'gear' together. Our style of water-fighting is err... unique.
Whilst Rin was distracted , worrying about shorts she was going to wear or something, I took the notebook from the back of my shirt and hid it under my mattress. Hopefully, Miku understood to keep quite about it when I pinched her. I felt bad about that; pinching her had been the first thing that came to mind I hadn't intended to hurt her. Anyway, as long as she kept it secret, everything was fine. If Rin knew I spent some of my free time writing songs, she would be sure to tell every-one about it, and therefore ruining my reputation before I'd even said hello.
"Hey Rin! You ready yet?" I asked as she pulled a shirt (practically the same one as before) over her head.
"Yup, I'm ready! Wonder what Miku will think of our fighting style."
We walked out of our house fully kitted for war: we each had a huge water blaster; two water pistols (kept in our belts for

"See you in a minute Miku!" A girl with shoulder length, yellow hair with a huge blue bow called to me as she ran off out of the fields. Her name was Rin. Kagamine Rin. We'd only met a couple minutes ago, but I'd already call her my best friend.
As I was waiting, I looked around. I saw small children with their parents; families having picnics; girls my age talking in groups; boys my age too, playing football or play-fighting.
And then I noticed one boy who was different. He was sitting down, writing in a notebook.
He had large, blue eyes and yellow hair tied up in a small ponytail at the back with one part of his fringe pointing up, the rest down in a messy kind of way. He was wearing a white sailor-top with black and yellow striped hems; the collar black with a bright yellow stripe going down diagonally and where the collar met, there was a yellow tie. To match, he was wearing black Bermuda shorts with a yellow stripe on the bottom
