Your Poetry SucksYes, roses are redMore Like This
And violets are blue
But you have to understand
Who said they had to,
Its about imagination
Emotion and orignality
Not the reiteration
Of dead men's practicality
They are your sentence
To a world that has to listen
As you create the difference
Whether it be
With angst poem against love
Or how you set your heart free
To fly like a dove,
For these words
Whether or not they be true
Their beauty and ideals
Will be used to define you,
Hope ,in fact, has feathers
And like a caged bird it sings
But these words will only be tethers
That strip you of your wings,
Those are their words
Meant for their time
And meant for their herds,
But this your time
Meant for your words
And whether they be meaningful, stupid
Or completely absurd
I'm sure they'll be amazing.
Kajm is a Liar - Fake Scientists Caught OutMore Like This
Kajm is upset about the fact that fake scientists get exposed as pseudoscientists, paid shills get caught out on connections to groups like the Heartland Institute, and people with no expertise in climatology aren't being counted as climate experts.
He of course thinks this is terribly unfair, and like a creationist believes that every pseudoscience spewing gish galloping moron should be treated with deference.
So here's a word of warning from Kajm. If the people who do actual research arrive at a consensus, that could lead to witch burning by the church, because Galileo. A scientific consensus among professionals in a field of research based on experiments and studies and data is totes the same as a bunch of old men in robes pontificating on the bible.
The 97% Climate Consensus is Not a MythClimate Deniers continue to misrepresent facts and get caught out doing so.More Like This
Climate change is a tricky subject to talk about: It’s a large, complex scientific issue that’s both difficult to grasp in full and extremely important for the public to understand. In our shorthand for making sense of it, one statistic is often thrown about: 97 percent of climate scientists agree that man-made climate change is happening. Yet a big, impressive-looking Op-Ed in the Wall Street Journal asserts the number is a “myth.” WSJ’s claim is wrong, of course, but where its authors fail to debunk a popular meme, they also manage to make a much more insidious, and radical, argument.
First things first, we should be extremely skeptical of any a
Common abrahamic excuses that hold little waterMore Like This
"God gaves us free will, ergo it's pur own fault": Except that the Bible nor the Qu'ran put emphasis on free will. Hell, this excuse is so very recent, that, until a few centuries ago, the idea that God had absolute control over our lives was very popular.
"Its our fault; Adam and Eve's sin created evil, not God!": If you have read Genesis, you'll know this is bullshit (Hell, even Yahweh admits he created evil!). Likewise, at no point is the first sin ever considered a "Pandora's Box" situation.
"God is goodness incarnate! Evil is against his nature!":...have you even read the Bible? Yahweh is also considered to not be goodness incarnate until the NT and Qu'ran; in the OT, he is treated as a Lawful Neutral agent.
"Your're putting everything out of context!": Considering I actually bother to read the Bible/Qu'ran, while you only cherry pick passages your pastor dictates...
"He died for your sins! You should be grateful!":
1- His sacrifice was pointless, He only rescued saints from Sheol
