I felt a sharp pain in my sides. My head was spinning and I felt as if I had been sleeping for years.
My eyes twitched open to reveal a dark hallway.
Toto, we are not in Kansas anymore.
I felt around me to look for my lighter. It would light the hall, even if just a little.
It wasn't in my pocket, so it probably fell out. Beside me, a couple steps away, was the lighter on... A piece of cloth?
I lit the fire device to look. There were small letters made out of crayon. "I'm sorry." was all it said. It was barely there, seeing as it was written on a silk handkerchief, but it was there.
