AwOken 2.5 Released!!!Hi all,More Like This
I'm very pleased to announce the official release of the new 2.5 iteration of AwOken icon set!
Among various things (a total of more than 1000 icons newly designed or completely redrawed), the best improvement comes from the dramatic increase of colored icons. Now the iconset is bright, colorful, funny and fresh, mantaining its typical minimalistic style as well.
All the three typical iconsets (AwOken, AwOkenWhite, AwOkenDark) comes with the colored version by default. Obviously, this can be changed through the customization script. Thus, the old monochrome, good looking themes we got used to are still available (even though you have to dig a bit to recover them)!
An important thing is that the color option is available also in customized colored iconset as well. The idea here is that the backbone style will be solid and choose by the user (for example, the color of the status icons), but there will be the possibility to use the colored apps side-by-side with the overall

First beta of new AwOken 2.5, with all the colored icons you saw in the gallery, and more that I didn't uploaded before. Ubuntu 12.10 and Gnome 3.6 compatibility.
Please try it, and feel free to send me any bug you find (also the littlest one). The customization script should work properly, but be aware that probably the coloration script can have some problems since I have to fix some issues related to the new icons I added.

Simply extract it and place it in your .icons folder. Remember that by default the iconset come with the color option enabled, but you can always return back to the monochrome version through the customization script

I'm coming with a great news: I started to create a more colored version of AwOken app icons! Here you some examples (on the left the colored icon, on the right the default one):

Btw, as you can see these are kept from the google+ page of AwOken icon set. So, in order to be up-to-date with any improvement I do, I strongly suggest to add AwOken page on G+ (here's the https://plus.google.com/u/0/b/116957764483417291271/116957764483417291271/about ) if you're on G+; if not, create an account, it's simply amazing!
