It has been a rather hectic last few months for me, which is why I've been quiet. I have managed to keep my inbox under 200 messages, if you don't count anything that I look over/keep for use in Love dA Lit. I also totally have it under 100 right now, but we will see how long that lasts.

Who Cares About the Literature Community?A few days ago we had a chat to discuss community issues and solutions (see the original journal for details). Huge thanks to everyone who came and raised awesome points!
It took 45 minutes for the volume of talk to max out Sta.sh Writer's character limit and this chat went for two more hours, so I'm just going to summarize the key discussion points, starting with big actionables for #CRLiterature and for the community.
I've put the chat stuff lower down as it's denser: the outside bullet is the issue, and the inside bullet is possible solutions (not necessarily in order, each point is really a response to the original issue). Being Funny with HaveTales-WillTellI'm constantly sad about not finding sufficient amounts of humorous works here. It occurred to me that, you know, maybe I should spread the word on how to be funny!
Since I've got nothing, I turned to someone who is pretty amusing around these parts. The thumbnails featured throughout this article were provided by `HaveTales-WillTell (or are from his gallery), so you don't have to take my word for it.

What do you find funny?
Above all else, I delight in cleverness. When reading, that often means puns and other forms of wordplay; with visual media, there can be the additional dimension of a character's actions mirroring or contrasting with their mannerisms, dialogue or accent.
These days, puns are underappreciated, relegated to opening-monologue punchlines and thrown-together internet memes. (Walken on Sunshine, anyone?

UTAU CONTEST [OPEN]A little bit of info:
So lately i have been wanting to make a new UTAU; however, i have been lazy XD But i came up with this great idea for you guys to participate in a contest to the death . In this contest there will be two categories;
1) to design the UTAU from scratch
2) to try out to be the voice of that new UTAU!
You can enter either one of them of even both :iconimhappyplz:! However, i just thought of putting this here you can only win in one category XD

Topic 1: Designing the UTAU
Basic characteristics i would/wouldn't like to see:
- Light cool colors (like light blue, or purple ...etc.)
- I prefer not to get an entry that the outfit is exactly like the traditional Vocaloid outfits. (ex. Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Len and Rin...etc)
