SexismBoys will be boysMore Like This
Girls shall be ladies
Boys romp and play
make mud pies and fight
Girls have tea-parties
dress up and act like grown-ups
we chuckle when boys return
covered head to toe in mud
we scold when a girl returns
with a grass stain on her clothes
Boys shout and holler
Girls wait and listen
'Lower your voice girl,'
they say when she squeals
'Is it because I'm a girl?'
she asks quietly
They lie respond with 'no,
its just what is proper'
Then why aren't boys
silenced when they scream
Girls have voices too!
We are they the silenced ones?

As long as I came home and cooked dinner for my husband when I was done,
Because that’s all I’m really worth to them.
I’m a plate of burnt pancakes
That they could have cooked better,
And a rag soaked in chemicals
Here to wipe up a mess they made
Or gag the children that they’re too tired to listen to.
My skin is too dark for them
Too dark to be near their sons
Too dark to be pretty in their family pictures
Too dark to suit the skins of their grandchildren,
Love everyone equally,
Just love them from afar, right?

And he would know better then anybody,
Because leaking from his hollow eyes is a stream of whiskey

And I feel sorry for him, that they make him fight against himself,
But at the same time I hate him for giving in to them.
In my mind, I stand up in the pew and scream truth at him,

They just flatly refused…they would not touch her because she might be pregnant, and they might disturb the child. She continued to bleed." (Paley 8)More Like This

You mixed it all up. I got violently ill." (Goldberg 116)

"God gaves us free will, ergo it's pur own fault": Except that the Bible nor the Qu'ran put emphasis on free will. Hell, this excuse is so very recent, that, until a few centuries ago, the idea that God had absolute control over our lives was very popular.
"Its our fault; Adam and Eve's sin created evil, not God!": If you have read Genesis, you'll know this is bullshit (Hell, even Yahweh admits he created evil!). Likewise, at no point is the first sin ever considered a "Pandora's Box" situation.
"God is goodness incarnate! Evil is against his nature!":...have you even read the Bible? Yahweh is also considered to not be goodness incarnate until the NT and Qu'ran; in the OT, he is treated as a Lawful Neutral agent.
"Your're putting everything out of context!": Considering I actually bother to read the Bible/Qu'ran, while you only cherry pick passages your pastor dictates...
"He died for your sins! You should be grateful!":
1- His sacrifice was pointless, He only rescued saints from Sheol

Think of this.
You write your suicide note... And you set it on the table.
You take your razor, your silver, two inch razor. And you start to slide it across your wrist. You barely feel a thing. After all, the pain of life is more than the pain of the blade.
And you take that belt you never wore, the one that was too tight, the one you starved yourself to fit into. And you wrap it once, twice around your neck... and you pull it tight.
Barely breathing, you put the ends of the belt on something to hold you up.
Something to strangle you.
Something to kill you.
And you die.
And that's the end, right?
So, so wrong.
Your younger brother, the four year old little boy that you loved so much. He walks into your room, only to find you hanging there, lifelessly. Only to find you with dried tears on your pale face. Only to find your suicide note... the one you left right before you died.
And so he runs in tears to your mother. And she reads the note, barely able to brea
Bullying hurtsThe girl you just called fat? She is overdosing on diet pills. The girl you just called ugly? She spends hours putting makeup on hoping people will like her. The boy you just tripped? He is abused enough at home. See that man with the ugly scars? He fought for our country. That guy you just made fun of for crying? His mother is dying. You never know what its like until you walk a mile in their shoes. trust me. I bet you won't repost this, only 5% do.More Like This
Good News: Your Rape was OK'd by God.Did you know?More Like This
God has a plan for you. Yes, he has a plan, and people like Rick Santorum and Richard Mourdock have a special power that allows them to know what God's plan is - not only for them, but for hundreds of millions of complete strangers. And thanks to this special magical power that God has bestowed supposedly only to them, they are able to tell you that if you are raped and get pregnant, you shouldn't abort it - because it was God's plan.
You see, I find it absolutely wonderful that if, indeed, there is some sort of magical deity out there that poofed everything into existence about 6,000 years ago, that particular being also chooses political teams in US politics. Like, who knew? I thought Israel was supposed to be the magically God-approved nation, but somewhere along the line the US somehow became "God

Today is what we would call a tragic day celebrated in some countries as a glorious day. For those who wouldn't know (I think mostly about Europeans) in USA today is celebrated what they call the Columbus day. Indeed, in that country, one of the worst tragedy the world has knew is seen as a day of joy and festivity.
While the arrivance of Columbus on American continent is indeed a major cultural and historical event for European history (and then by consequent of American one), it lcarly shouldn't be celebrated. Why? well, simply because it launched what communism (and other movements as well by the way) always opposed : colonization, land conquest, exploitation and slavery of local people, and cultural extermination
