A. B. C. D. of digital art!
During my never-ending quest of improvement I realised how essential it is to have your work reviewed and critiqued by other artists and art admirers/consumers. Good critique will point out things that you didn't notice before, comment on your methods and suggest directions that you may follow. It can help you look at your art objectively.
From time to time people ask me to critique their work and this gave an...

Hello everyone! Welcome to the very first Issue of Anako's Blunt Critique Department! Before we start I'd like to send some huge thanks to everyone who participated and sent their works for critique. I was really surprised by your enthusiasm towards improving! That's so awesome!
As I had suspected, it wasn't easy to choose one picture for the Main Critique. Each one had so much potential that I eventually decided to additionally pick three more works for something I'll call Minicrits. So now in every A.B.C.D. journal there will be one Critique of the Issue and three Minicrits - to cover as much as possible.

this man is a storyteller at heart. his cmic is an intense one, really cool and i recommend it it is available for preorder, a voice in the dark. it is out in november. i don't usually promote stuf, rarely even my own, but i want to promote this because this man deserves it!

Mentorships!Several people have asked, so I've been playing around with the idea of offering a mentorship program. This idea is still in the very early stages of development, so I don't have any concrete information regarding price or length, but you can read more about it on my blog. Right now I'm just trying to gauge interest and get ideas from potential students as to what they would like to see. Thanks!More Like This
Inspiration and Resources!Hey dear watchers and visitorsMore Like This
I decided to write this journal because I need your help. I noticed that I really donīt know as many inspirational and especially EDUCATIONAL sites/blogs as I would like to. Iīm interested in drawing in general, but also in animation and story telling. Thatīs why it would be so kind from you if you could tell me which places you usually go. And maybe I can help you too by giving you some adresses which are really interesting(but I think also very well-known so you might know them already).
The sites that I visit frequently:
Deja View http://andreasdeja.blogspot.de/
Cartoon Brew: http://www.cartoonbrew.com/
Animators Resource http://animatorsresource.blogspot.de/
If you knew any similar adresses, it would be so cool. Thank you
