Pre-Birth: Elenore Tobberman's father, Ethan Tobberman, was working in a small restaurant when he met Nemesis, who at the time, was going by the name Vicky. Ethan was a gentle, modest man, with a small temper. He was raising Elenore's cousin, Sam (5 years older than her), whose parents had died in a bad car accident.
Ethan was serving "Vicky" at the restaurant, when a drunk man from the pub across the street came in and started hitting on her. Soon, the man began to insult her, and Ethan stepped in and made him leave. "Vicky" admired Ethan's desire for justice. They hit it off and dated for about a year. After eighteen months of dating, "Vicky" had Elenore and turned her over to Ethan. "Vicky" revealed her true identity, figuring Ethan could handle it. He did. He was mostly upset with falling in love with a goddess.
