I believe that this is a species of burdock which hitched a ride here on a hiker's sock. I've never seen these here before, and I am actually curious to see if it will survive in the area for next season. Meanwhile, this invader from lower altitude can serve as foreground for photos.

I've recently watched the movie Cloud Atlas and thought it was time to reprocess a photo that I took last year...this is the location where they made a part of that movie...(some of you might recognize it).

The spot is called Punta de la Nao and you can see Cap Formentor in the distance- probably one of the most interesting places on the Island Mallorca.

These 2 photos show also locations from the movie Cloud Atlas:

This picture actually not good enough, i do some mistakes when i make this shot, like a little over exposure, very high iso (but because of noise, the vintage atmosphere looks more naturally :D ), etc
but when i see this pic again, i have an idea to post-processing this on photoshop
I got the idea because at that time I was listening to the MONO's song. the song's called The Flames Beyond the Cold Mountain
That song was so emotional for me
so i try to bring the atmosphere of that song in this pic
i know it's still far from good, but i like this work anyway
enjoy!

Dead Sea , Israel , 2012

Salt games in salt water , that is what you see !

Salt , water and Earth - dreams from Underworld .....

The Dead Sea , also called the Salt Sea, is a salt lake bordering Jordan to the east and Israel and the West Bank to the west. Its surface and shores are 423 metres (1,388 ft) below sea level, the lowest elevation on the Earth's surface on dry land. The Dead Sea is 377 m (1,237 ft) deep, the deepest hypersaline lake in the world. With 33.7% salinity, it is also one of the world's saltiest bodies of water, though Lake Assal (Djibouti), Garabogazköl and some hypersaline lakes of the McMurdo Dry Valleys in Antarctica (such as Don Juan Pond) have reported higher salinities. It is 8.6 times saltier than the ocean. This salinity makes for a harsh environment in which animals cannot flourish, hence its name. The Dead Sea is 67 kilometres (42 mi) long and 18 kilometres (11 mi) wide at its widest point.

A great and brief scene witnessed two days ago at sunrise. I really enjoyed the strange cold hues in the shadows while the sun was casting warm sun rays in front of me. That mix of colors in the morning mist made for a great atmosphere.

Yesterday I bought premium tutorials from:

Another addition to my Blue Hour Series I have been working on the last trips. This is probably my longest exposure I've ever taken alongside Continuum Shift with over 20 minutes. I was sitting on the foothills next to the Geroldsee and tried to capture the approaching light resting next to my camera in the damp grass. It was a great atmosphere. If you want to see more from my recent Alps Trips visit me on Facebook I'm way more up to date there than I am here, spending very little to no time on this platform anymore.

It has been awhile since I really did any work inside Photomatix as my camera now shoots HDR natively in body…but I figured what the heck.

Liked the way the composition worked out here with this shot...not exactly dead on Golden Ratio and not exactly dead on rule of thirds, but somewhere in between the 2. The weight on the hillside on the left, the gentle S curve from it's slop to the left and the space associated with it.

This was quite a scene…and I shot several of this scene, the only real difference in this shot is that it doesn’t have the rainbow going through it like the others. The light was to die for as it often is when shooting thunderstorms. Captured outside of Nederland, Colorado along the Peak To Peak Highway.

I hope you all like it

Wow...I didn't post any tutorials for a long time...I was quite busy ^^; Anyway...here's tutorial on how I paint male torso anatomy. My OC Ash was happy to take his shirt off for you ;P (I didn't post any pic of him on dA yet...WIPs you can check on my Tumblr and Twitter xD). I used Photoshop CC while I drew this...but if you have older PS versions like CS5, CS6 this should work fine too. In other programs some settings may be different. And this time I'm posting image tutorial...no programming this time :XD: I thought it would be easier for you to have a pic :dummy: And special thanks to Clawed50 who edited text in this tutorial :3

Well...I hope you'll learn something new and that this will be useful. Enjoy :la: Other tutorials by me you can check below:

On Tumblr you can find it here :la:

NOTE: Again...this is the tutorial on how I paint anatomy, in my style...I draw semi-realism/anime so the anatomy isn't 100% realistic. This ISN'T reference sheet for different body types (lol, like that's not obvious). I'll make this one later. Though inner body anatomy I draw the same for all body types.

Subject Zero t-shirt design.
Made for a very cool person.
I wanted to keep it really simple and clean that's why I didn't bother with the different holes in Jack's jacket.
Very much inspired by the Obama Hope poster style.

Hope you like it. :D

Please, don't post anywhere else without my written permission, thanks!

Jack are belong to EA/Bioware (but don't let her hear you say that because SHE WILL DESTROY YOU!).
I am merely borrowing her because I love ME and everything that comes along with it (minus maybe Kai Leng and the Illusive Man, oh and those creepy Banshee Reapers).

In the summer the Milky Way rises a little bit higher into the southern and eastern sky as seen from Dartmoor allowing a brief window of opportunity to look towards the center of the galaxy, as seen to the right of this image. The light pollution from Plymouth and Princetown isn't ideal, but it does help to reveal one of the most striking silhouettes to be found on Dartmoor. This was taken during a 'wild' camp on Staple Tor on a warm but windy evening. The blue in the sky to the right of the image continued through the night as the sun moved below the horizon. This image was taken at just a few minutes after midnight. The smudge you see to the left is the Andromeda Galaxy and the section of Milky Way shown is (approximately) from Cassiopeia on the left to Sagittarius on the far right. This is without a shadow of a doubt the best night I have ever spent on Dartmoor!
