Yesterday, a bunch of friends and me went to the EFF, and as always it's been one seriously amazing day ; v; ~
When I came there however {around 10:30 am} other people still hadn't arrivedor didn't recognise meso I had to wait for about an hour until ~xFairyHunter, *The-fox-of-wonders and ~Sanderooh arrived {there were more people but we only found them later}. xDD Fun thing about Cosplay is that I feel there's time for anything, so the waiting didn't even bother me. This is why a group of friends of mine have decided to make a movie, to raise awareness about bullying, and to help bring an end to this terrible atrocity against innocent kids.

This is really irritatingOkay, so guys, I'm going to a rich kid school. There are no other good schools around, and my parents are convinced that this is the best school in the area. The last week or so has been /extremely/ rough on me. My laptop is in the shop anyway and I won't have it back until Saturday so it's probably best if I just stay offline for awhile.

Long story made extremely short, I almost committed suicide yesterday and today at around 5:00 pm the love of my life was admitted to the hospital after he fainted.
-He's not supposed to drink but he did it anyway last night, and he has brain cancer so he was affected by it greatly. He has surgery on the 29th to remove a tumor that's come back for the third time now since he was diagnosed and he won't be out of the hospital for a week or two.
Until he's back, it's probably best for me to stay offline as well. My health right now depends on him and knowing he's okay and if I don't know he's okay I'm not going to be okay. I haven't been okay for a long

I was stressed and in a bad mood.
Then I went to drama club and came home really upset since I despise our dance teacher (for many reasons but I wont type them all down). She's really negative and isn't even a good teacher.
So naturally, I came home upset and stressed and generally pissed off.
But then something happened as I checked my Facebook feed.
I'd won a contest in which I win a crap ton of American sweets (AKA stuff that's really expensive to buy here in England and really hard to find anyway. Yes, you Americans have things that we don't).
And my mum and I are over the moon that we actually won something.
So now tomorrow we can sit back and watch Eurovision with a ton of sweets and drinks to boot.

It's okay to ref but even Clavies told me a long time ago, give credit when it's due, don't go into rage when the artist asks for credit, they're not asking you to change just asking for credit, because if it happens to you, most likely you'll feel the same way, and who knows, with hard work and patience you'll probably get fans who you'll inspire and you'll want them to be themselves, and not try to be you but BETTER than you.

So basically a few people have asked me about commissions in the past, and really, I've had no set prices for anyone who's actually willing to offer me a currency for my art, whether it be points, USD or GBP. Frankly, I don't really take commissions in USD or GBP because frankly I'm young and I don't really think anyone would actually be willing to pay me money for my art so I think if anything I'll just stick to Points for now and see how well it goes. I know I won't get a lot a commissions but every so often someone tens to inquire, so this would be easier than anything else.

1. Post-work is not a dirty word
A lot of people have this idea in their heads that editing an image in Photoshop after you render it, or combining different things you've rendered separately together is somehow deceitful and wrong, but it's not.
Post-work just makes your 3D even better! It's a lot faster to fix a small lighting bug in Photoshop than edit it painstakingly in your 3D program, and often the results are just as good!

Everything started off interestingly. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

The day I joined deviantART.
That was ten years ago. A decade.
In that time I've been married, divorced, married again, welcomed my two children into the world, been held in rapture at new friendships and grieved over friends passing, attended devmeets with over 400+ people and made more art than I ever ever thought I would. I've been a member, premium member, a volunteer Gallery Moderator, and now a Core Staff member, running a department within deviantART.
Had anyone told me that my life would unfold in that way ten years ago I simply wouldn't have believed them. The impact that this single website has had on the direction my life has travelled is profound. It has shaped me as a person, as an artist and as a professional. It has enriched my life and those of my family and friends.
So at this time, ten years passing, how can I possibly sum up my experience in a drawing, or a photograph or a cake or anything else? I thought long and hard
