Normally after a night of drinking with Suika, Yuugi didn't like to wake up before noon, but she was up at seven, trying to un-sexify herself.
"The hell, girl!" Suika yelled, squinting in the low light, already hung over and fully dressed for the festival. "It's too early to leave. I haven't even had my Bloody Mary yet! I can't leave without it!"
"Then go make one," Yuugi said. "I'm busy."
"But I thought you weren't gonna try!" Suika argued. "Besides...you're good at making them."
Yuugi sighed and left her hair half-teased. When she tilted her head in the mirror, she decided that the lopsided look was good.

To oni, midsummer meant a fantastic, all-day festival, with drinking, dancing, and crashing the parties of the humans and seducing their women. Hoshiguma Yuugi adored midsummer as much as her oni sisters, but she wasn't looking forward to Gensokyo's region-wide festival.

"I had no reason to hate the tengu before I found out they enslaved my xaevison, my species, and ravished my xaevi!" She bit her lip. "I'm a warrior at heart.
