Had this drawing sitting for a few months but I never put it up. I was originally intending on making different head and arm units with radomes, hands, missiles, etc. Sections of the frame and each module are made up of 2-3 layers each so I can slide pieces in and out at will.

I haven't updated in awhile but I've been working on a new project that should kick more ass than anything else I've done in the past.

Not expecting any favs on this one. I'm just putting it up so that everyone knows it's done. I've got so much to do this week it isn't funny so I'll probably be away for a while. Took almost 2 hours to render this one and I'm bushed. This is the Zaku II F2 as featured in Gundam 0083. There are other slightly different versions of this model which are easy to revert/change to from this model alone. That's why I love 3D...make one zaku and you've practically made them all (save aesthetic changes). Well, it turns out that I'm too lazy to do anything else with this image tonight so I'll just wait till I get the GP01 done and I'll try for a desert scene... other than that, it's a good suit to blow up near the Neue Ziel mobile armor whenever I get to it.....

Software: Lightwave 8.3 (modelling/ rendering), Macromedia Freehand (logos).

3 hours Ps6.0, airbrush

yes, its a top down perspective of a Parachutist Zaku (allright thats custom made lol) that got badly clipped during a fall, as well as been through a firefight and lost its arm. Its final resting place is in a large flooded area among some ancient ruins...

..and thats a pilot saluting an old friend, that will not fight with him anymore

last night halcyondf told me about gundamfanclub 's contest (due date: december) well i knew if i do it later id probably never start. out of respect for myself (lol) i just forced myself to sit out and complete the sketch!

Hope gundam(mobile suit fans especially) fans like this ^^

thinking of doing a city fight scene at night as well..

Finally I finished the Dresden Files Molly carpenter Window This picture is actually the reason I started making windows :D

Background
Molly is being soulgazed by Harry in a cathedral. He sees her future Options as reflections in the cathedral windows.

Now I thought of painting the cathedral windows with reflections but that's hard. So I went lurking through gothic windows and so, and thought, why not make a window? Started with the Dark Molly pic but found it hard to make people.

And then I found that tutorial, and thought, let's try and make first easy stuff, like Asoiaf house sigils. And then it went on and on and I didn't continue the Molly pic.

Finally though I thought, I've had enough practice, let's try again. And here it is.

In detail explanations

Header: It's the christian symbol for the Carpenter (like Joseph). Catholizism is very significant in Molly's family so that's why it's there.

Five pointed star: Symbol for magic. Present in all of them.

1) Emaciated Molly. Pretty much self explanatory
2) Molly with family. Her magic fades, hence the star has no colour
3) Warden Molly, hence the swords
4) Present Molly. YES this is Chicagos skyline
5) Working Molly. I interpreted it as studying, hence the books and Bob as a spirit of intellect.
6) Dark Molly. The darkest thing you can become is a Fallen Angel, hence the coin in the upper corner. The carpenter sign is darker. And a gargoyle because it's pretty.

Text: The side text is the bookquote of the scene. IN EACH WINDOW you have the text incorporated at the bottom that describes what Harry sees.

I've used A LOT of image references and a stained glass tutorial.

A few details can be seen here [link]

Imagine both pages as taken from a large continuous comic, and don\'t wonder who these characters are that I just killed off that nobody ever introduced.

Anyway,
Homeworld, this great art piece of a space game, turns 10 years old today.

Let's hear some cheers for this good old title!

Another design in my "flying vehicles" series.

This one was a bit different in that it is a "plane" instead of some kind of star fighter. I pretty much went to town on this thing.

A few notes:

Overview of Process: 3D rough Sketch>PS Line Drawing> PS Lighting Pass> PS texture and painting> PS post levels and other adjustments/tweaks.

I didn't render out the gun that much because i felt it wasn't that important to the overall design. Its there so you know its there.

I put "stealth" serration edged exhaust ports... because the just look really cool. This is not really a stealth fighter.

The decals were grabbed from an old model kit sheet, they don't have meaning other then what fits in context.

Based off of this 3D rough I did last night : [link]

More agile tank for scouting. Also it has ridiculously exposed machinery so it should focus on moving in and then moving out so to not get totaled.

Bruticus on the battlefield. I love design of Bruticus and him in G1 cartoon episodes.

I made it as a cover image of TF-The-Lost-Seasons' "Check mate" story, one of my favorite their works, and as a thing pairs with Predaking image I made before(-->[link])
So I made it with art in "CALL OF THE PRIMITIVE" and Studio OX's work again. I love OX's TF combiners art in particularly, all of them looks so cool^^

You can watch "Check Mate" story their gallery-->:icontf-the-lost-seasons:

I made this painting in March and it was used for that building's poster of spring bargain sale. I was really glad when people of a building said OK for this painting and I saw a big poster of my painting. As you can see in left photos, a poster of this painting was larger than I imaged(◎_◎; )

When Liliana blows a kiss, it can crack the earth's crust, spewing out molten planet as though Mother-Gaia herself were nothing more than a giant, white-hot whipped-cream filled balloon.

However, it is an ultimately sexy wake of annihilation; you'd die happy.
Here we see the lovely Mistress of Death showing off her sleek new dress of hideous, screaming doom. Woven entirely from the shredded hopes of the unfortunate souls who've crossed her. (Which, as it turns out, makes a comfortable, breathable material which accentuates both shapeliness, and pure smoldering evil.)

As is not uncommon for me, I have two versions of this card. One that's a little simpler, clearer, and so will work better when shrunk down to card size. And another, that is dripping with detail and extras, that would pretty much look like super grainy multi-color sand at card size. So I give you both the official version, and the blingtastic version.

Hyperion was the first manned expedition to Saturn, launched in 2190 from Lunar orbit. The ship itself, a huge vehicle over 800 meters long, was constructed in Lunar orbit over a period of 5 years. Its propulsion system is a gas-dynamic fusion engine, burning deuterium. Gas-dynamic magnetically-confined fusion rockets had very long reaction chambers lined with powerful electromagnets and capped with magnetic mirrors to keep the fusion plasma tightly contained. This design had several advantages, the most important of which was that it made confining the high-temperature plasma easier than in a tokamak, because the fields are essentially easier to align (Tokamaks use curved spherical confinement fields which can be difficult to keep perfectly aligned, often resulting in unexpected weak spots which can disrupt the plasma too much to allow for a sustained reaction). Gas-dynamic fusion rockets are therefore characteristically long and thin, and the reaction chamber is lined with enormous, broad radiators.

The crew of 10 spend most of their time within the cylindrical habitats on either end of the rotating arms. Spinning at around 4 rotations per minute, the crew experience about 0.7 g's of artificial gravity. The crew is a rather diverse mix of people from several nation-states on Earth and a few of the burgeoning settlements on Mars.

Hyperion is equipped with two landers; a spidery, airless lander hab designed for landing a crew of 4 on the surface of Enceladus and sustaining them for 2 weeks, and an aeroshell containing a Titan lander hab and ascent vehicle, which can house a crew of 5 for 3 weeks.

For Numbus movie project I created a bunch of images depicting key shots from the screenplay. Such paintings acts as a guide both for film crew and vfx team. I choose the scene with futuristic orbital game where two teams are trying to catch an asteroid near the planet. Here we see player's mech being dropped down by carrier shuttle.
