continuation of the series from Poznan, Poland watercolors and dry pastels on paper 42x56cm hope you like it as much as I enjoyed painting it my other works: my facebook: www.facebook.com/takmaj.majawr…
This one was a really personal piece. It was around the time I found out I had to get open heart surgery, how shitty my choices of valve replacements was, and my emotions were all over the place and I would randomly get anxious or burst into tears. Drawing it out really helped.
This is from the Elle magazine "This is what a feminist looks like" edition. Emma has always been an idol of mine and I'm really proud of the stand she's taking for gender equality. If you don't know what I'm talking about (which I doubt) go check out: He for She.
This was refreshing to draw. I hope you like this, took me around 10 hours to finish.
Materials: Prismacolor Pencils Electric Eraser TombowMonoZero Eraser White Gel Pen. Mechanical Pencil. Strathmore Paper.
QUESTION: DO YOU have any idea what I should draw next? If you have something in mind please, tell me.
Bayushi Misaki is a swift, beautiful and intelligent young courtier of the Scorpion Clan, but those excellence charateristics are merely icing on the cake, as she posses much more cunning characteristic deeply inside.
The extravagant look are merely a disguise of what she really is, a nine tailed fox witch (Kitsune) or also known as Tamamo-no-mae.
She currently play her role as a Scorpion, but only the fox witch herself knows what tasks lies on her agenda.
Note: For those who wonders about Tamamo-no-mae [link]

Just a little sneak peak of something I have been working on for class. In the end there will be a bunch of ink wash drawing/painting designs :3 I might piece them together in some sort of booklet or something. Idk...There will probably be too many to post on dA, so my thinking was to make a zine or artbook available at a very reasonable price. I'd hate to have to monetize it, but gotta be making some profit back somehow XD At this point I'm just rambling to myself.
If I made some sort of thing available either online, or made to order- say 20+ mostly never-before-seen works for $5-$10 would anyone be interested? Print books would be a bit more expensive. Just wondering what the final direction I take this project in should be.
Tutorial dedicated to , who inspired me to make one. We'll need: -paper(watercolor paper is recommended) -pen/artpen, it would be nice if we had something with waterproof ink for first 4 steps -watercolors (here brown, red, yellow and dark blue - not many as you can see) -salt (for sky and shaded parts) -tissue or even toilet paper to dry parts were we put too much water -a lot of patience
