Brony Advice: Your Questions Answered #10, 11, 12More Like This
#10) I know a brony who legally changed his name to that of a pony. What's up with that?
Answer: Some fans are really extreme when it comes to how much they like the show/fandom. Some love it so much that they're willing to do irrational things, one of which is changing your name legally to that of a pony. At that point, you're most likely taking things too far. I'm all for expressing yourself and feeling free to behave however you wish (as long as it doesn't impact on others), but the primary issue with the pony-name thing, apart from the inherent ridicule that'll arise from it, seems to be lasting appealing.
Consider that the show won't be around forever. Whether it lasts for another year or two, it's highly unlikely that you'll be watching new "Friendship is Magic" episodes in 2020. By that point, it's reasonable to assume that the fandom will have slowed down a heck of a lot. Logic suggests that when episodes stop being produced, interest in the show will dwindle; som
My Thoughts on MLP ShippingI know I once said that I would only restrict my "My Thoughts On" series to characters, but one cannot talk about MLP characters and the fandom without discussing perhaps one of the most important aspects of that fandom, that of shipping.More Like This

Author's Notes and Scrapped Content
Alright, so I figured a considerable number of my readers wanted some more insight into how this series of mine came to be, so I worked up this set of author notes, and alternate scenes that were cut or made into something else entirely. I hope you enjoy!
Part 1: A Precious Rainbow
Well, if you've read the last 'making of' doc, you'd know that the original idea for my alternate ending to Cupcakes came from a 15-second dream I had in the truck in June of 2011, which just featured Rainbow in a hospital bed surrounded by her friends, minus Pinkie, which caused me to connect it to Cupcakes, which I had read months earlier. Knowing that I possibly had something, and wanting to improve my pony content after 'Spirit of Loyalty' got a mediocre reception, I started to flesh it out a bit.
At first, I was only planning on writing it up to where Rainbow left the hospital, spent half the night in the traveler's inn, and then went to Sweet A
