How to make a Creepypasta CharacterSo. In response to the number of abysmal, atrocious, and horrifying-in-a-not-good-way Creepypasta OCs I've been seeing around dA, I decided to put together a journal based on what not to do when it comes to making characters. Now, as some may know, I'm not big a fan of making spread out OCs; making OCs for Creepypasta is like making OCs for the Twilight Zone, they would be one-shot story characters, unless you're planning on making a series, and even then, it's still a one-shot. Here are some tips.

The serial killer mode? So last year.
Monster made in lab? Boring.
Raped and killed by parents/family/boyfriend/whatever? LAME.
It's not that hard to sit down and think of something unique. If you're going to go with something generic, then try to make it yours, don't rip off Jeff the Killer, or Jane or Eyeless Jack. Make up something clever, look for inspirations in real life killers. The same thing goes for Eldridge abominations, ghosts

After weeks of unexplained murders, the ominous unknown killer is still on the rise. After little evidence has been found, a young boy states that he survived one of the killer's attacks and bravely tells his story.
"I had a bad dream and I woke up in the middle of the night," says the boy, "I saw that for some reason the window was open, even though I remember it being closed before I went to bed. I got up and shut it once more. Afterwards, I simply crawled under my covers and tried to get back to sleep. That's when I had a strange feeling, like someone was watching me. I looked up, and nearly jumped out of my bed. There, in the little ray of light, illuminating from between my curtains, were a pair of two eyes. These weren't regular eyes; they were dark, ominous eyes. They were bordered in black and... just plain out terrified me. That's when I saw his mouth. A long, horrendous smile that made ev
