The Raven and The WolfYou said you wanted to stay and listen to my whispers but I told you it's too late (early) and you need sleep.More Like This
I held you and whispered poetry into your hair as you fell asleep. I listened to the way your heart beat and it seemed to say one word; home, home, home. The rise and fall of your chest soothed me more than any drug ever could.
I used to say I didn't believe in love but as I stared at your sleeping face, traced the contours and creases - the blemishes and scars, I couldn't help but think that maybe ... Just maybe this was it.
I stroked your autumn-kissed hair and rested my cheek against your chest. I lay there and thought, not for the first time that you are the most beautiful collection of atoms and stardust that my eyes have ever seen; with your autumn hair and earthen-eyes.
You are my wolf and I your raven. We have always been destined to meet, but I wonder, I fear, that one day your wolven heart will realize that it was not meant for me. Surely there is another who deserve

Missing just on que...
Are you hidden behind a lock?
Maybe in chains, blocked?
Stuck in a spell of sleep?
Waiting for a kiss you seek?
Are you in the stars waiting to fall?
At the voice of your true loves call.
Watching out for hidden beasts?
They are out there to say the least.
Looking for hands that are soft?
Looking for the strength to not feel lost?
Reading books on love's theory?
It will only leave you broken and teary.
Your running the idea through and through again.
There is a happy ending just around the bend.
Come on out into the light.
Don't stay out of sight.
Don't put up those walls.
Don't listen to those dolls.
The world isn't that dark.
So what if pain is making its mark.
Break through your broken hearts gate.
You will find your sole mate.
Look your doing it.
Keep writing it out.
You'll make it without a dought.
I miss my dogMore Like This
I see you there
I see you every where
I can hear your feet against the tile
But that truly I haven't heard for a while
I still lift my feet over places I used to trip
Where when I did I got not even a nip
I leave a space where you used to lay
Whenever the time of dinner may
Sometimes I still see your old hair roll in the hall
And then I want to say your name in a call
Those are times when the tears do come
You are missed at all times and not just during some
Never ever bad
Even when you pinched dad
A master thief among the very best
Putting our patience to the test
Leaving only a bun
Acting like nothing had been done
Oh Lord I miss your sneeze
I wish I could just give your whiskers one last tease
I remember scaring the birds
Neighbors thinking us absurd
You were the boss of the rest of them all
The small, big, or even tall
Yet you left us in good care
Now only if there wasn't so much hair
I now wipe my tears off my face
And have a smile in their place
Remembering all the socks you did
