I still can't grasp coherent sentences when I think of this shooting and the resulting pictures.
Since I'ma huge fan of these kind of pictures I present you the outcome of the Hyrule Historia Manga Chapter: the Hero sacrificing his own live for the sake of the Hylians and the grief stricken goddess, who decided to become mortal over the pain of loosing him.

Here's my last minute cosplay for this years Cosday²
It was going to be a very hot convention day, so I cancelled my other plans and sewed this little cosplay within one football match (and it was THE match of the year for Germany /D).

I've always liked the shop mistresses in the game Phantom Hourglass, which was actually my very first Zelda game ^^ For this game I even bought an Gameboy DS!

Since the shop ladys all look the same except for their hair, I chose the one I liked the most: the one on Goron Island
For the convention I brought all of my Zelda cosplay accesoirs and opened a little shop ;3 I even had a little fairy!

Foto was taken by Akimon

---

Welcome to the only shop of Goron Island! How can I help you?

Here are my props for my Link cosplay, which I sewed (again xD) for the German Cosplay Championship!
The Shield is my pride and my love
It's my third Hylia Shield (the first being crap and the second being black xD) and the first on with which I'm really satisfied!

It was torture to throw it away on stage ^^; But we made Place 7 in the overall ranking, so I think it was worth it!

The materials I used were: wood, glue, foam, styrofoam, modeling clay, paper and a lot of other stuff x'D

Re-uploading this photograph because loads of people have said I should crop out the trees on the side, as they were too distracting. So I have. :D
I hope it looks somewhat better. ;)

This is the landscape I saw from the top of Beynac Castle, in the Dordogne department of France. I visited this beautiful place last week. I spent several days to assemble and edit some 20 photos I took while I was there (no fisheye, no autopano!). The original image is huge and it was quite a challenge this time because my graphic tablet just got damaged and I had to do almost everything with a standard mouse. :)

The above image has been created with photos taken with the Samsung NX10, which has been provided to me by Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.

It was a very cold day in Belgium today. I found this precious duo in a park in Brussels. These birds were amazingly colorful and beautiful.

It made a perfect contrast with the pale frozen lake. The bird on the right is a Mandarin Duck.

According to an old woman who goes to the lake every day, the 2 animals became friends and stay together all the time. Lovely couple!

It is Freezing

A poem by Peter S. Quinn

It is freezing
We are going nowhere
Coldness in breezing
Gathering around here
We just walk the lake
On a frozen day
Together quack quack make
On our walking way

It is dark still
Even thou its noon
And a bit more chill
Is coming in soon
We together are close
Friends indeed are we
As the bitter grows
Winter becomes breezy

It is sub-zeros
Or so men have told
All of us are heroes
That to hope must hold
And we are never lonely
If we together are
One for each here only
Below a brightly star

Feeling Bad

A poem by Katie Gabrielle

Feeling bad
When the world's feeling good
Just the opposite of how I should
Upside down
When the world is right side up
In the middle of a happy world
What's so good about
Feeling bad?
What's so bad about
feeling good?
Strike a match
Light my world
Turning paper into ash?
To the winds I must go
And now I'll never know
What the hell
Is so good about feeling bad.

Kirkjufell, Iceland

From this angle, kirkjufell is its conical iconic shape. Back in 2010, this kind of shot was almost original but its amazing how in the last 4 years, the popularity of Iceland has skyrocketed making this shot really a dime a dozen for any visitor. Nonetheless, I am glad that we did take our frames of this image when we had the chance as it will be a long time before we head back. Can't that really be said about any iconic image though![Prints and Tutorials] [Facebook] [500px]

I know it's autumn now, but I never got a chance to post this during the summer. The timing never seemed right. So I thought I'll show it to you guys today! ;)

Tintin is just soooo happy in the sun, isn't he? This is the companion piece for Did anyone say adventure? When are we going?. Gizmo was looking at Tintin when I shot that picture. Yes, I know it's really late to post this, but what can I say... Life and other photos happened.
Hope you enjoy it anyway. :D

Long exposure frozen winter waterfall from the Orange Grove area of Patapsco Valley State Park near Baltimore, Maryland (USA). HDR composite from multiple exposures. Also part of a wider network of trails called the Avalon Super Loop, where the name alone drew me to this place and spoke to my inner child fascinated with myth, legends and fantasy :)
