*Note* This update(v2.1) is the final re-writing of this fic which I should have learned to let go of but somehow can't(it being my first fanfiction and all). However, please enjoy this latest retelling of Fading Colors, I hope that my skills as a writer now truly display what I have wanted to first share with you guys years ago.

Decided to skip the reception outta my account of Zest's wedding, purely because IT WAS BORING.
The food was nice, and the speeches were okay... but OH, the CONVERSATION.

Plus I am still recovering from AJ having caught the bouquet and therefore by tradition becoming the next mare to be married. I can't look at her without getting the chills now.
At one point I mistook her tying her shoelace back up for a proposal. I got all panicky and sweaty and when she looked up at me and said, "You really like my shoes, huh?" all I could scream out was, "Yes, yes!!!"
So, once all that was over we actually got to celebrate the wedding properly. Considering how dull the conversation was over dinner, I'm quite surprised at the atmosphere of the dancefloor. I wish I had my party shades, but they really wouldn't go with thi
