Your p.o.v. –
All the house lights were off apart from the typical front door one. I was treading incredibly carefully, until Jeff began walking faster; it was either lose the killer in the dark or try to keep going. Naturally, I kept walking, jogging, running. Due to the possibility of my body just shutting down at any moment, I’d like to say I kept up with the killer, but that wasn’t the case… I eventually tripped over a kerb while we were rushing through a gutter. I would have face-planted the rough pavement if it wasn’t for Jeff. Though I hate to admit, there was a part of Jeff was still, well, Jeff – he was just a broken boy.

I turned around to see the girl falling behind and falling over. I jogged over to her and pulled her arm, spinning her in midair and just about stopping her from hurting herself more, even if I jarred her arm. Although it would have been quit
