Recently Crash's home of N. Sanity Island had started being invaded by monsters. As hard as he tried to fight them off they seemed endless. Eventually his sister Coco managed to track down the source of the monsters to an ancient temple, hidden deep within the thickest and darkest and most hazardous jungle on the island. Making his way through the maze-like dungeon, Crash managed to get past the booby traps and armies of monsters to their master, the necromancer N. Igma.

This is how I imagine a boss fight with Igma would be. He'd try to stop crash with hordes of monsters, but switch to casting magical attack spells once Crash gets too close.

A good three hits and Igma is down.


As a member of the villainous N-Team, Igma is prone to clashing a certain orange bandicoot once in a while when his monsters run loose on the island.

In a recent poll I asked if I should make a Gangsta Cortex plush or a formally dressed Cortex plush. The gangsta Cortex plush won the votes, so I decided to make it. I've been feeling a bit down lately, so making this plushie really helped me feel a little bit better.

he took about 3 days to make, sewing him all day non-stop. (around 1pm-early hours in the morning each day) I did sort of annoy my parents and my brother when I was making this early in the morning, 'cause they were trying to go to sleep while I was on the sewing machine. xD I was desperate to make a start on making him, but I had no stuffing. Normally I rip open pillows to get the stuffing out, but my Mum had no spare 'cause I've used them all so I had to make an emergency call to both sets of my Grandparents to see if they had any spare pillows for me to rip open. xD My Grandparents on my Dad's side had no spare pillows for me so I phoned up My Grandparents on my Mum's side and thankfully my Grandma had one spare pillow for me. So the next day in the morning, my Grandpa was kind enough to drop it round for me, bless him. So then after that, I made a start on the doll.

All the doll is made of different colours of felt, as usual. Parts such as his eyes are stuck on with silicon. (absolutely love that stuff)

Normally, I make these types of dolls and then sell them on eBay. I wasn't entirely sure whether to sell this one, as I didn't think that people would be interested in buying a doll of an evil scientist dressed as a gangsta. But if anyone is interested in buying him, please tell me.

But anyway I hope that everyone likes him. I've been wanting to make a Cortex plush lately with different clothing. I actually really enjoyed making him.

This is a drawing I did in a Cafe in my free period at College. When I don't have a lesson going on, I go to town on my own and go to a cafe to have my favourite Iced Coffee and sit and draw. :3 and this is one of the drawings I did. It's of Cortex being a Gangsta because im so obsessed with drawing him like this at the moment.

When I was drawing this a very awesome thing happened to me. A worker at the Cafe told me he liked my drawings and was wondering if I could design an album cover and logo for his friends band! How cool is that?!

I was going to do an coloured version of this, but I wasn't sure what to do for an background...I'll think about it.

But here it was edited on Picmonkey to give it more of an bolder 'sketchy' look..

Got my hair cut super short and low lighted red all thanks to my awesome Mum (she's a hairdresser)

I'll be honest, when it got all cut off I did cry. But I think that's natural for people to cry after they've had loads of hair chopped off all of a sudden.

I love my new hair though! It's just the way I wanted it now. I was getting so bored of it long. It tangled way too much.

Finding colour style

First Disney fan art in watercolor an imaginary scene at the end of "The Great Mouse Detective" after Basil closed Ratigan's case. Ollivia was about to leave London with her dad. She decided to give Basil something to remember her by. Fortunately, she had the replica of her ballet doll, and she gave him as a gift lol... I don't know anything else would get along better with the movie.

GMD was one of the best Disney animations I watched when I was very young. Even though I couldn't understand most of dialogs and plots, I kinda remembered all those voices and music in this film. Lol, and what reminded me the most of it was how scary I felt when there were a lot of sudden Fidget face moments on screen!(And still scary now! ) How many times I watched it? ... I lost my count haha

I just had a chance to watch it again on DVD last week, after I watched "Sherlock Holmes" movies (RDJ version) at home on March. And I laughed like a mad girl whole movie becuz of those cartoon plots and songs, even my mom gotta ask "What are you watching??? Are you gonna turn back to a child again??" LOL Just can't believe I could make myself watch this kind of stuff at this age...

Anyway, beside from movie itself. Another inspiration of making this art is a ton of loyal fans who were still out there, although the movie was extremely old. I just found a lot of great fan fiction of GMD as well, especially about BxO shipping great inspiration!! If only Disney could make the sequel, it's gonna be epic!

I'm surprised that I could somehow drew these characters very easy! It's true! I've never be able to draw any of Disney's character at this accuracy before. But I think I had some practice when I tried to draw Mulan years ago, which has helped me to understand Disney's drawing and painting style. If you notice, I used the darken object's color for strokes - as the same for Mulan drawing, instead of black ink we saw in GMD I love basil and Olivia in this pic <3 I also love newspaper in background too, very fine detail to work with no.2 round brush

More painting practice, I wanted to see if I could do a more detailed character.

The Making of Arcanine - An Overview of My Sculpting Process


1. Armature - I first build the wire skeleton, attaching it to the base with a thick support wire. It is essential that the weight of the sculpture be balanced equally to either side of the wire. Foil is used to keep the sculpture light weight; this prevents the sculpture from collapsing on itself. It's just like how a body without bones would just be a gooey lump of flesh and organs! (Ew!) 2. Blocking - For most of my maquettes like this one, I use a 50/50 mix of Super Sculpey and Sculpey Firm. Sculpey is a non-toxic polymer clay that you can bake in your home oven. The initial shape is created with overlapping pieces of clay. This is called the "block out" phase of a sculpture. It is rough, but it gets the overall feeling of the pose, shapes, and anatomy. There's no point in worrying about details if the form isn't right. For a full tutorial I wrote on sculpture blocking and refining, go here.

3. Refining - The sculpture is next refined to get smoother shapes and a steamlined form. I do most of my smoothing with my hands, but also use some tools (seen in the tutorial listed in the last step). Once I get the sculpture how I like it, I use rubbing alcohol on the piece to smooth out small imperfections. It is important that you do not overuse rubbing alcohol as it will dry out the clay and make it crack. Once I am all done, in the oven it goes!

4. Sanding - You thought the smoothing was done? I don't think so!!! Sanding a sculpture is essential for a clean, smooth surface. I use 220 grit sandpaper, cut into small squares. Sanding is time consuming and hand cramping. It normally takes me 1-3 hours to sand a piece. I brush all the dust off with a soft, clean paint brush before applying 2-3 thin coats of primer to even out the surface. I use grey sandable primer by Plastikote; in my opinion, there is no other choice when it comes to primer.

5. Painting - Finally, it comes time to paint! I use Delta Ceramcoat craft acrylics for my painting. They are cheap, readily available, and come in a great variety of colors. I start with a base coat of the main color (orange in this case), applying about 4-5 layers to get a nice opaque color. Then, I move on to the secondary color (light yellow here) and do the same.
