Zelda drummed her fingers on the dark wooden desk. The candlelight shimmered, casting shadows all over the walls. The letters in front of her were hardly visible in the scant light.
Her eyes continued to skim the book, her face in utter concentration and her forehead creased.
These cliche stories weren't helping.
The classic story of love between a handsome, blonde prince and a gorgeous princess who had her face plastered with lipstick in the shades of strawberry...
This didn't seem like love to her. Not at all.
So, if not this, what was it? When did she know if she was in love?
Her hands ran through her blonde hair in agitation. She thought she was in love... but she didn't know. Zelda sighed, drawing her arms around her knees.
