Evening light on the Grand Roc Noir and Vallonnet Summit in Vanoise National Park. The autumn sun declines gradually on the horizon, coloring with gold the snow covered peaks. The night and the cold fall come around us with a quiet and soothing silence. The wind has stopped, making a perfect reflection on the surface of a lake without any waves.
Vanoise, Alps, France.

This is an image taken during my last photography workshop in Iceland, june 2012. Here is a block of ice from the Vatnajökull icefield, deposed on the black sand beach of Jökulsarlon by the North Atlantic Ocean. It was about 1am, during the infinite night glow of summer.

This is a picture from my last trip in Patagonia... We were here in the deep valley of Rio Electrico, near the roofs of mount Fitz Roy. We were planning to reach the circo de Los Altares on the Hielo Continental icefield.
This morning we ad an amazing sunrise on this place called "La Playita", on the shore of Lago Electrico. The weather was amazingly quite, with no wind. Some really rare conditions in this area. These conditions offered us a great reflection of the Fitz Roy peak, in the morning glow...
These mountains are really different from what we know in France with the Alps... they're really impressive and I'll keep great remembers of this trip.

A little slice of paradise. Rock falls in Havasu canyon in Arizona. I worked up some courage earlier that day and jumped off this into the white water below. Great memories! Natural occurring Lime in the water creates the beautiful turquoise hues.

Hi, Well you always hear me talking about the different experiences I have when shooting pictures from the blinds I have in the marsh. This shot shows the marsh from the culvert by the entrance road. My blind # 1, is on the left hand side, where the trees end and the water starts. It looks like a big pile of brush. My other blind #2 is on the right hand side ,way out in the back section. You can't see it from here. With these 2 blinds here, I have a morning location and then an evening location. The water is quite high after the recent rains, so I have to wait a few days, before I can get back into them. Now you know what my" second home" looks like!
Last pic from my sunset rocks shoot. Near Boorowa, NSW. Canon 5D tripod Canon 16-35L lens tripod and remote. Double RAW technique processing the RAW file twice, once for the foreground and a second time for the sky then combining the two.
A view from my last trip to Scotland last september... Here is the well know Buachaille Etive Mňr mountain in the scottish highlands... A majestic pyramidal mount standing at the gate of Glen Etive... As often, the sky was dark, and the rain not so far, a great remember!

Shy is a dear, dear friend. However, he has a very annoying habit of entering my shots at the exact time it's most intruding. Luckily, on this one he made the perfect addition to this amazing ice cave

I spent 3 days 2 nights in Torres Del Paine National Park. On the second day we stayed at Hosteria Pehoe. A hotel itself is pricy but it is a good location to get around the park. A view from the hotel window was breathtaking.
This was taken in the french Pyrénées. A delicious morning light revealed the true splendor of those mountains, complimented by pretty cirrus clouds... a great moment. The lake is called "Lac d'Aumar", definitely a very nice place !
